I’m having an issue where registered users have purchased packages for download and their payments have completed but they are not able to download them from the site.
The purchases show on the download dashboard but there is no link I can find either on the page for the individual packages or on the download dashboard to actually download.

Thanks for this amazing work, I just have one issue, I hope you can help me.
For one of my client, i’m using the tree shortcaode, but the problem is that he does not want to have to open a new link with the file details, I would like to have the popup with the information you have to give in order to download the file, I tried with the shortcode : download_link=1
But no luck,

I was reading through the forums and found out pretty much how to use the Advance Custom Fields.
I had two issues so far with it though.
I created a Group in the Advance Custom Fields add-on. I have 4 fields in that group.
I copied the Template Tag for the entire group and put it in a page template. The Field titles show up but no data from those fields for a Product/Package page. It created a nice table but no data.I then copied the custom fields one at a time and then the data shows up.
How do you get the data to show up with putting in the whole group?
Also, I tried to use the shortcode to create a Responsive Table with the “wpdm_all_packages” and the data doesn’t show up there as well.
There was another post here in the support forums where an admin gave this information and said it should work. It doesn’t.

I am setting up Amazon S3 plugin and testing with test product, an MP4 video file.
I click on attach for the product file.
It shows the link in the product admin side.I go to preview product page and click download and it ends up playing the file instead of downloading.
Is there a setting I am missing to make it download instead automatically playing the video file?
And, it shows the actual URL that it is being downloaded from, is there a way to protect that link URL from being visible?

Have you checked the below shortcode for direct download link?

In example, if you use[download_url]as the download link in the button, then it will start downloading directly.If the issue still persists, please share related links to check also provide me admin access in a private reply. So that I can do it for you.

For link-templates you can keep only
[title]in your template for package title, you can also clone a link template from your Downloads > Templates section, adjust it and apply it for packages thereby. please let me know if you have more queriesThank you and regards

Is there a way, either via custom-functions.php code, or a setting, or a add-on, whereby I can disable the package title link to the package Post. I would like users to download the package directly from the Call-To-Action button as well as the Package Title.Is this possible?

Hi @Robertwikholm,
You can update files from the file list of any package from the attached file list.
You will just remove the old file from there then reupload the newer and keep the file name same. In this way you can add newer version number there.
If you want to show only directory url, then either you have to add files by using
SELECT FILES FROM SERVERorSELECT FROM MEDIA LIBRARY.
Also you can use the below shortcode to make direct download links for any packages.

kept the old version as backup zip file in the plugin directory) and it seems all downloads are present. Here’s the reference screenshot.However, your subscription is over that’s why the download plugin button is not present in the dashboard link I have shared before.

Unfortunately I’m working on a private development site so I won’t be able to send you the link for issue one (re: permission-denied txt file). I was wondering if this may be an issue you have encountered before and if so – you’d be able to help out without a link anyways.
Just to provide some extra detail, the txt file is titled “permission-denied” and contains the following error message:
You don’t have permission to download this file

Auto-install sometimes fails due to auth error or server file permission issue.
However, you can always download any add-on from the below link.
