I am using following shortcode to display all downloads in table form and order them by Date wise so latest documents shown at top and older below it.

But on the front end my Table view is auto order by Title column only. I have not set to order by Title field but still it is doing so. How to change that behaviour and arrange it date wise.We can no longer use azure blob SAS URL’s. They work for any old download links but for any new links users receive this error on download attempts:

We noticed the the URL received by the client PC has an extra few characters added – any % in string gets becomes %25.

We have set up a simple login page. As soon as this is linked in the settings (Settings > Frontend Access), it is no longer displayed correctly. Also the “Modal” setting does not work right – the logo is missing.
To track the Issue we did a fresh install without any styling & plugins. The issue remained (see pictures).

Additionally I can find this same issue on the Private Message Demo, when you try to delete messages from the [Private_Message] short-code. It will delete. But when the page is refreshed, the message will come back and not delete properly. I don’t think this widget is properly updating to the database. I can see this is still evident on my staging site, the message will delete on the front end, but when you look at “all messages” through the WordPress Dashboard, the messages are not deleting, this is what is causing the counting issue.

I’m trying to display image attachment preview in the Doc Preview template file. I was wondering if there’s something I need to fix in the code?
Also the “[doc_preview]” is not displaying the file preview all the time, it’s inconsistent. How can we approach resolving that?

</div>This works great but only for PNG and JPG. I have tried to change the [thumb_240x180] tag into the [thumb_300x200] tag. This works great in the example window, but not on front end. It returns an Internal Server error.
What goes wrong? Is it the wrong tag? How can I make it happen that the above code returns a pdf preview.

Sorry I think maybe I wasn’t clear. With template tags and shortcodes, doesn’t this mean I would need to create a separate WordPress page for each category? I want to avoid the need to create 50+ pages.

I have created 50+ categories using Download Manager. I have also created a menu for these categories.
I want to create a page with a left column menu, and then a grid of downloads on the right for each category.
If possible I want to avoid having to create a separate WordPress page for each category as this would take longer and be more time-consuming to manage.
My question is, is it possible to do this via template files? For example I would add the shortcode for the menu in this and then also the ‘link template’ I’ve created.

AustinI have created a link template for WPDM which I have placed in /download-manager/templates/ dir as instructed, however every time I update the plugin the file is deleted. Can I put this template file in my theme files so this does not happen?
