Hi Shaon! On page “Settings” when i check the option “Hide Everything” (When user is not alowed to download:) this option is not working. I want a specific user can only see their download and the download does’nt see other users, even if he can not make the other downloads. Can you help me with this? The right thing to do is that each user sees only their downloads.

If I log in to administration of WP on other bookmar of my explorer and restore bookmark with public web, download counter show right information. And if I log out from administration of WP and once more restore bookmark with public web, counter show again “0”.

for facebook locked package use page template = “Single Column, Image Top, Extended” or create a new page template with template tag [download_link_extended]
but download links are appearing and working fine.
yes, you can, please use custom login url at “Login Required Message” option in download manager settings page
please send a temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com with forum post link.
Hi,
I have just discovered that my theme and the download manager have some conflict thing going on.
When i have the plugin activated i can not logout of the site because when i click on the link to logout, the link does not open.
Nothing happens when i click on it which leaves you permanently logged into the site.
I have been having this issue for a while, and each time my theme developer asked me to deactivate all plugins and reactivate them one by one, i always deactivated everything except for wpdm, because i never expected the plugin to be responsible since my site is designed around this plugin.
So the developer logged in to see what was wrong, as soon as he deactivated all plugins, the logout option came up and was working, so he said to start reactivating one by one to see where the issues was, and wala! it was wpdm pro that i never suspected. See screenshot from the developer.
1. Is it possible to insert a direct link to download a package directly in to a post without having to find the ID or copy/paste the shortcut URL? For example, is there no option to add a WPDM button in to the WYSIWYG editor to quickly link packages created?
2. Is it possible to HIDE specific packages from the wpdm-all-packages page I’ve created…
http://www.pro100.ro/librarie-pro100-corpuri-mobilier/
The problem are:
1. download not start after user click on facebook like
2. on tweeter and linkedin i see the link posted by user on his page, but un g+ and facebook this link didnt appear
waiting your help
thank you
Sorry to be a pain… you may close this request…. I figured it out… Can’t use the same permalink for my page with the shortcode than the url define in the settings section.. ie:
/downloads/
/download/
/wpdmrss/
changed the permalink and all shortcode works now.
I do have another issue with the Categories not showing up when we click on the little drop down arrow display with [wpdm-archive]
can be seen at http://new.rotalec.ca/download-manager/
Please Help.
All I want is to have single downloads within the page with the “Facebook Like” or the “Password” before download.
What I want my visitors to see:
1. Title of Download
2. How Many Times Downloaded
3. Facebook Link 2 Download or Password 2 Download
It does not need to open in a separate page. I’m fine with a popup if need be. Please just advise me what needs to be set for this to happen.
Categories? Templates? (if I even need these) And what do I select in the “Add New” menu?
What I’m able to do: I’m able to get the downloads and count to work, but every time I try to apply the Facebook Like or Password Protect, the downloading stops working.
Thank you.
@robbeau, give me exact URL with download link, better is send a temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com.
It’s happening to me too. The link works fine today and then a few hours later when you download the link, it is then a .txt file instead of a .jpg.
I checked the code you supplied and the original code is not in the .php file and I updated the permalinks, and that doesn’t help either.
This is a business site and we need it to be working properly so our customers may download the high resolution files. Can you please help? The site is http://jamiesterndesign.com
[download_link] will generate complete html code for download link, there you have to use [download_url]. As [download_url] returns direct download url , it only usable with public downloads only.
please send a temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com to check your issue
not clear, free version never had multiple image preview, but in pro you can do that ( like: http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/file-download/wordpress-shopping-cart-system/ ) . for that you have to use tag [gallery_WxH] with page or link template. That will show additional preview thumbnails in gallery format, each image height and width will be same as specified, eg:[gallery_50x30] will show image gallery of additional previews and each image size will be 50px × 40px
Well after hours and hours….did I mention hours….and reading through 55+pages of post here I stumbled upon and use the word stumble upon very lightly, because it was like a needle in a haystack to figure this out so far……
I managed to figure out how to get the archive part working so I have a download page wich is some what like what the demo is….But I cannot figure out how it is you get the categories or sections part above the files/downloadables list to show up? Anyone?
And before you ask or give me a link to the archive add on, I already have it, I not only purchased WPDMPro but all of the add ons..
I have the archive plug in installed and using the ” [wpdm-archive] ” short code in my page can some one tell me exactly what to type in my wp page editor?
Please help!!! See image attached
Thank you!
Extra html is being displayed on my page template and I have no idea where it’s coming from. Please advise as soon as possible. I just launched this site. Thanks.
Attached is what my page template looks like.
Here’s my page template code:
<a href="[download_link]">[thumb_300x200]</a>
<a href="[download_link]">[title]</a>
[file_size] | [download_count] downloads
<a href="[download_link]">[icon]</a>[download_link btn btn-danger]
Hi, I’m a new user to Wordpree and I have purchased WPDMPro to manage my downloads on my WordPress site.
I would like to know if you can assist me in how to set up WPDMPro to look like the demo you have set up.
1. I would like to have a link on my nav menu that says “Downloads” when visitors click on link the go to a page that show all download categories and like in demo (see image) they can select category and it shows available files list in that category with screenshot preview.
2. Set up a side bar left or right to easly access different categories.
3. at bottom of main downloads page show the most recent uploads added
4. Have the most recent upload added to my blog/news page to showcase the new upload with image preview and file description.
Hope I made sense. Is there any addition add-ons I need to purchase to make this possible if so what are they.
Also each time I go to add a new package or update a package or download file via WPDMPro it ask me do download/open or save a file called “admin.json” why is that, how do I disble it from doing that each time. Also each time I update the package WPDMPro hangs up saying Please wait after I hit the the botton update Package.
Thank you in advance for your assistance…sorry for being such a newbie!

The details link takes paid visitor to http://www.mydomain.com/blog/wpdmpro/wdmpro/ which is a blank page that just says “wpdmpro”.
I am using aMember to hide the download link. No payment option.
Any advice is welcomed.
for download through the “lock Twitter” Twitter message contains the title and link from package.
