SubscribeorUnsubscribeI have installed OK, but when i insert the shortcode to a page, although it generates a list of the package files with individual download buttons when I click them, I get a pop up as follows:

which is: Plain Text Document (0 bytes)”Also I cannot find where to change the individual file list download buttons.
I have the image button plugin and that works for the package button on the link and on the page, but does not allow me to change the individual files download button.

I am a Softwaredeveloper, so be sure i know what i do. That’s the reason why i can’t understand why you are giving so confusing answers.
You need to edit that in wpdm-add-new-file-front.php, first copy the file to /{active theme dir}/download-manager/
is wrong, because just copying the file doesn’t work. If you haven’t copied the whole dir before.
I got this working by copy the
whole tplsdir totheme dir and rename it.So now i have many files and dirs in my /theme/download-amanger/ dir, including email-templates, link-templats, and so on.
when there is an update of the core plugin, how do i know wich of the original files, not in my theme dir, was modified?
The ability to clone the path in template dir, but just copy the files i modified would be much more userfriendly.In reply to: Not able to download, after add password
I see you are using v4.4, where download links should work fine. However we are releasing new update within in next hour.

1. You can create custom template to change table fields.Design your template with available template tags.
2. You can change the download button label from Package Settings Link Label

Topic: PDF Stamper problem
Hi, after upgrading to wp 4.2.2 PDF Stamper version 1.4.3 has stopped working. PDF files on bottom or top position have no text mark. I tried to disable all plugins except wpdm but it didn’t work. I’ve run some test and found out that the Stamper doesn’t work in a direct download link but it does work if I go through the slug link. I’m using this custom template:

Hello , I bought the pro version to a few days ago. and I am having a problem in translating the table that is in this link in here .
As already seen in PO files .
The other issue is that at which I realized , we can create our own template and also can not put the ” Download” button as it comes by default.
I wonder how I can change the table fields .

Uhm, I’m trying to make a custom template without [page_url], but I still get the underlining/blue color typical of links under the file title, which is a bit deceiving. How do I remove that? This is the current code:

You can do that by removing
[page_url]tag from your Link Template. Edit your active link template From Downloads Templates.In reply to: Direct Download?

Thank you very much. Download links now work for all the items on the page. Is there a possibility in stead of the popup to have a small little box appear like in the [link-template-search-result] template, similar to the attached image?

I was wondering if there was a way to not send the download email to users that select to pay with cash, instead once payment was received manually, send them the link at a later date?How would you accomplish this?

I’m displaying to packages on a page. When the download now is clicked on either package, the email subscription comes up. However if any of the other download buttons for the other packages are clicked all that is displayed is some html code in a pop up box. I am attaching the images. Can you please help,

I’m not sure what to look for. Theres no template on the roll-down menu named [download_link_popup]
But maybe you mean I have to check something about the backup-functionality?

Hi – I have my download Categories set as all visitors ticked so it shows as Full Access – but on clicking the category link displayed on the from end as the package download page it displays a text message – please advise how can I enable this to link to display correctly?

Just tried to use [download_link_popup]. It doesn’t show anywhere, so I have to edit shortcodes. That doesn’t work for me, too difficult.
How do I get the template to show up when I wan’t to insert shortcodes for packages/categories? I use the TinyMCE button.
Also, just tried pressing two download links. The first works fine, the next just shows all the styling, see attached file.
Basicly were talking about workarounds for a download plugin that doesn’t allow dowloads. It’s kind of weird. It should be the core functionality.

Thanks, but it seems this doesn’t solve the problem completely.
Now I noticed that the problem concerns the Page Template sites only.
All downloads are not working there (even the package download doesn’t work anymore).
But after downloading the same package from the Link Template first they work on the Page Template again.
??! I don’t understand that.
It’s like downloading from the Link Template first would “activate” the Page Template 😉Do you have any ideas how to change that?
