As for the email, I (the admin) got an email saying “someone sent you a download link” so it appears the email portion of file cart is sending to the admin email instead of the email address entered.

Hi I purchased the WordPress download manager and file lock a few months ago all was fine. I migrated our site to a new host and everything seemed to work but I am getting reports from our website saying there is a critical error relating to WordPress download manager.
Even though I migrated the site it seemed dot work afterwards, we are still on the same domain http://www.sbhradiators.co.uk/sbh. The only this has changed is the host.
Please can you help the problem we have is that the forms are looking ok on the site but when you fill in your details we get the animated icon and nothing happens.

I’m trying to change one link template (link-template-default-ext).
I’m following rules as described in https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/Here is where I put updated file :
wp-content/themes/mychildtheme/download-manager/link-templates/link-template-default-ext.php
It doesn’t work.What is weird is that I also updated one other template but this one works… (wp-content/themes/mychildtheme/download-manager/shortcodes/category.php)

I am testing Download Manager 5.2.0 with WordPress 5.5.1 on my staging site. With only Download Manager, WPDM Amazon S3 2.8.1 and a default WordPress theme (TwentyTwenty), I am unable to add any files from my Amazon S3 account to a package on the Edit Package screen. My S3 account is correctly linked to Download Manager. I see some errors in the Chrome Console right after trying to select a file from Amazon S3. The errors are not there until I try to add a file. Please troubleshoot and provide a solution ASAP.

This is critical to us – wr can’t use your product without this in many cases. Here is the link to the previous ticket where the solution was provided. I just need to know how to do the same thing with the new code in the latest version.

i have solved the error 🙂But the self made link templates are not available when i want to insert a package in page editor via icon and the following window.
Only the predifenied link templates are shown in the listWhats wrong please ?
Also i want to ask if its possible to set up “Calltoakction4” link template ( as you can see here https://www.presswerk.de/spezifikationen-cd/ ) with “excpert_120” in the white box below “MB” and “Downloadcount”
Can you send me the correct code please ?? Or set it up for me ???

MarkUpdated to latest version today, broke the layout I had as my default page template. Tags went way across the screen and the download link wasn’t clickable any more.
Wouldn’t update from the plugins list, so had to deactivate, remove old version then use FTP to get it across. That’s when the layouts broke. Strangely only on certain downloads not others.
Restored back to previous version from backup.

My downloads have stopped downloading on my site. I have tried disabling plugins to see if that helped but nothing worked.

Having issues with showing information such as customer address/telephone etc on the front end.
Errors show as ‘undefined’
I can see this issue also exists in my actual account area for Download manager too as per the screenshots below linked.The data saves in the database but doesn’t display in those front end fields. Tried both front end and in the edit user area of admin too, neither works.

And we would like to change text and color for button for unauthorized users like this, but we see that the option doesn’t exist. Ex. Replace ACCESS DENIED with other locale.

MarkI think there is a problem with pdfthumbs cache or something. This is a new issue that began recently.
WordPress pages that have many downloads (100+) on the page showing a pdf thumbnail will not open (browser stays on current page after clicking link with spinning icon in browser tab showing) until it seems all the thumbs have downloaded. Then it opens after 1 or more minutes. That’s IF the page opens. Sometimes it times out. So I cleared the wp-content/uploads/wpdm-cache and wp-content/uploads/wpdm-cache/pdfthumbs. But the problem continues. It seems like this happens on a per user basis. For example, once the page does load, I can return to the same page later and it loads more quickly. However, if I come back to the page again tomorrow, I will get that same long delay. So it’s like the cache is being ignored.
