    Hi,

    Please see, I have created a package called test file, link and gave a featured image. And this is showing in the front end. Because of not showing featured image of your package in front view selecting page template called premium package, I am not sure this is a pre-built template or made template. I have not accessed for editing the template. Now you have to do in the template PHP file, just have to put, [featured_image] in <div class='row'> <div class='col-md-7'> [featured_image] </div>

    it will show the desired featured image. Please, let me know if it works for you.

    Thanks.

    1 ) Download in the search result page is working now. WPML plugin was breaking the download link generated by [download_link], I have used a custom link template to replace [download_link] with [download_url]

    2 ) By layout, do you mean the link template? If yes, you can define template in search result shortcode to control the result view.

    3 ) The search widget title is visible now.

    Hello,

    You can upload video files via upload > select file. Then you have to choose your page template > video player from package settings. If you want to increase the maximum file upload size, you can follow this link, How to Increase the Maximum File Upload Size in WordPress Download Manager

    if then works, let me know.

    Thanks.

    Whenever I email a link to download a package, the end user gets the following 2 errors:

    Warning: include([my website directory]/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/tpls//download-page-clean.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mytabtim/public_html/ameritechds.com/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Apply.php on line 1170

    Warning: include(): Failed opening '[my website directory]/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/tpls//download-page-clean.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php71/pear') in /home/mytabtim/public_html/ameritechds.com/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Apply.php on line 1170

    Note: “[my website directory]” replaced the real directory path for security purposes.

    The first thing that jumps out at me is the double slash in the directory path. Not sure if this is intentional.

    I am using the “Email Download Link” button from the All Packages page of the admin to send a link. The end user is receiving the message, but the page they land on displays the error above.

    The error is also displayed if I use the “Download Page” link in the “Generate Download Link” overlay from the same page.

    I can view the package page directly at https://ameritechds.com/download/epm-reporting-2020/.

    I’m opening the page in the latest version of Chrome on Mac OS Mojave.

    Thanks for any help you can provide. I’m trying to launch this feature for my client this week.

    Since the recent updates, our Custom Link templates have broken. We are using Default Values as well. We have the template setup so that clicking on the Button and the Title of the download should automatically download the file without showing the Download Page. This has now stopped working.

    This is the template code:

    <div class=”well c2a3″>
    <div class=”media”>
    <div class=”mr-3″ align=”left”>
    [icon]
    </div>
    <div class=”media-body”>
    <h3 class=”media-heading” style=”padding-top: 0px;border:0px;margin: 0 0 5px 0;font-size:12pt;”>
    [title]
    <span style=”font-size:8pt;font-weight:300″ class=”text-muted ml-4″>
    <i class=”fa fa-hdd mr-1″></i> [file_size]
    <i class=”ml-3 fa fa-arrow-alt-circle-down mr-1″></i> [download_count] downloads
    </span>
    </h3>
    [excerpt_80]
    </div>
    <div class=”ml-3″ align=”right”>
    [download_link]
    </div>
    </div>

    </div>
    <style>
    .well.c2a3 .btn {
    padding: 11px 30px;
    font-size: 11pt;
    }

    .well.c2a3 .media-body {
    font-size: 11pt;
    }

    .well.c2a3 .wpdm_icon {
    height: 42px;
    width: auto;
    }</style>

    Hi,
    WPDM only create a zip when there are multiple files with a package. For the packages with multiple files, you can to use link and page template where you need to use [file_list] tag, but skip using [download_link] tag.
    [download_link] tag creates a download link to download the full package, and [file_list] shows download button next to the file name to download individual file when single file download is enabled.

    Demo: https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/download/multi-file-package/

    Alternatively, you can enable “Cache ZIP file” option, which will keep the zip file created from initial download request of a multi-file package, and serve it for the every other download request without creating new one.

    Hi,

    It is possible, you can do it with File Hosting & Sharing Add-on. There you can give access to a user a particular package. You can also see a demo from the given link of this add on.

    Thanks.

    Hi!

    The “Invalid Download Link” error just started a week or so ago. No rhyme or reason to the users that are experiencing it.

    Attaching wp-login info via PM.

    Yes possible, you can follow the link below documentation,

    https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/
    by default, you are using link-template-default.php for link template and page-template-default.php for the page template. As documentation, you have to copy the file in the theme directory naming a folder called download-manager, then paste it in tpls>page-templates for page template or tpls>link-templates for link template. And you have to replace [download_link] with <a href="[download_url]" class="btn btn-primary" target=_blank>[link_label]</a> in related php file.

    Thanks.

    Try 3 different downloads, then refresh the page. Don’t click on same link multiple title, repeated click on same link in same session will be counted as one.

    Not sure when this started happening, but on our site, we are having this issue.

    Our normal workflow is to upload files via FTP (for organizational purposes), then use the browse feature when creating a package to find the file. This has worked fine in the past, but recently, the links being generated changed. Before they were of the form

    /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/files/cat/filename.ext

    However, since this change occurred, they are of the form

    cat/filename.ext

    Any idea how to go about fixing this?

    Hi

    As administrator (or subscribed member) I get the following popup message when I click on a download link: ‘You don’t have permission to download this file’ and a downloaded txt file of the same name

    I can however download documents in one of my categories but not any of the others. I’ve checked and compared settings and can’t work out why the is happening for all but one. My user access has all taxonomies ticked

    Any help greatly received

    Regards

    Ian

    Can you just tell me where to go on your website to download version 5.03 after I login to my account with you?
    The link in the email doesn’t work for me. Thanks

    I got the same problem! Even when I try the direct link from Wpdownloadmanager I get “You are not allowed to download”.

    I just updated to the latest version, and now instead of my download links triggering a download, they take me to a download page with the following error at the top:

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in …/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Apply.php on line 685

    This doesn’t happen with all downloads, just some of them.

    Hello,

    We initially built our site inside a UAT environment so we could get it all configured properly before copying it to a live server and are experiencing some issues with downloading some files. About half the files we are getting a file-not-found.txt file instead of the actual file when downloading. When I compared a package that was downloading properly and one that wasn’t the issue arose quickly… Under Attached Files some are linked correctly ( FileName.pdf ) while others are still using a path associated with our UAT environment.

    We’ve gone under settings and Updated File Browser Root but it’s not taking a global effect.

    Any ideas?
