Hi – sorry for not getting back to this sooner.
I have tried with several different types of paths/links and none of them work. They all set it to root://, then when I update, it changes to root://wp-admin. I have to go in manually choose the directory on each download to correct the issue.
I was talking about the last issue that drafts are published to the archive page. You replied to that by saying the issue would be solved today. But the updated download manager didn’t fix that issue.
This was my previous comment:
There is another issue with the directory addon. Draft packages get also uploaded and can be found on the archive page when I use this [wpdm_archive_filter items_per_page=”12″ link_template=”link-template-card” cols=3 colspad=2 colsphone=1] short code at least.
Ok, one trick you can follow for the locked package, you can use [download_link_popup]
template tag and change the download label as your package title for your specific packages
thanks
Hi Nayeem …
So, that is what I want …
< a href=”[popup_link]”>[title]< /a >
And now I read that its not working for locked packages ???
And [download_link] generates the button again.
We are at a total of 23 posts now over 7 days. Seriously ?
Hi Nayeem. I tried the [download_link_popup] and it generates again a button with text downlad.
I need the Title of the package as a simple Title of the package here
Right now it does that with the various shortcodes …

This is what I want … Text Links

Please let me know if the problem is that I cannot explain it properly. I will try what I can.
Hello dear download manager team,
Today we unfortunately had to realize that all downloads (400+) no longer work. The download itself still exists, but no file is attached.
The different documents still exist on the server, only the connection to the download package was removed.
Of course, we can’t go through 400+ downloads now and attach the file again with every download. Is there a way to make this easier to do?
I would be very happy to hear from you soon!
Many thanks and best regards,
Manuel
I think you can use [download_link_popup]
instead of [popup_link]
and [download_url]
is working but for the mask URL, it is generating #
only, I hope you have understood
thanks
Hi,
For single file view button you need this add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-pdf-viewer/ and you have to use [pdf_gallery]
template tag in your page/link template
thanks
Hey Sir I am wpdm pro user, I really like your plugin and I want to purchase for another website, but I am facing a problem which I already discussed on the forum, that I can not select the files from Cpanel, in the current situation I am adding files direct download links, because my select from server option not working, it gives me error 404, so without that feature wpdm is incomplete plz help me
Are these download packages title or other pages links?

Hi. Sorry me again. I went through all the link templates, tried to work with the shortcodes.
I still wont get a simple link list. I dont want a button or package all in one.
Something like https://snipboard.io/hImYt0.jpg
You click a link, email lock shows up, you enter and then download the document. Everything else is to fancy.
Possible ? can overrides be done ?
Hi all,
I have another issue with the S3 addon.
The addon is not loading the buckets. When trying to access them it only shows the “loading items” title:

I used to work in the past and just recently stopped to work.
The S3 user set up is correct. I also created a new S3 user – same problem.
When someone hit a download link its showing a critical WP error message.
I am using
WPDM – Amazon s3 – Version 2.9.1 (just updated today, after it didnt work)
Download Manager – Version 5.3.0
Thanks.
Options are available I have mentioned above, also you can visit shortcode options here,https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/, you can also customize the link templates for the package shortcode too,
thanks
Also not working somehow.
I would like to add a link list at the bottom of my page.
Like that …
https://snipboard.io/hImYt0.jpg
each link should have a email lock, asking for name and email to download an individual file.
Am I doing it wrong when I put the all in a package or do I have to create a package for each link ?
Hi,
I use the [wpdm_search_result init=1 template="link-template-default" cols=1] shortcode in my page, but my guest cannot downloads the files. Instead of the download button, this message appears: Login is required to access this page.
How can I delet this requirement from the frontend access or by other way?
Thanks!
David
Yes, it is protected with Email lock, so this is causing, protected lock files should be unlocked through the main download link
thanks
Hi, yes. I have a package with 4 documents. I copy the link which ends in ?wpdmdl=4303&ind=4047 … put it on a page in an href.
Default on the package settings, Email Lock Options, download instantly.
please elaborate more on your issue, are you getting you are not allowed to download message for a single file download link,
Hmmm … I set a single link from a package, I get an “you are not allowed to download” … the complete package I can.
Do I have to save the link individually outside of a package ?
Do you want specific download link for every file attached with multiple files? let me know
thanks
Hi. Actually I need some help with the Link Template.
I create a “package” with 5 pdfs to download.
I would like a basic link list top to bottom with the name of the file.
PDF Title A
PDF Title B
PDF Title C
PDF Title D
That possible ?
Hi,
Do you want the direct download link of packages or attached files, please elaborate more on your query
thanks
Hello,
I have two questions.
1. Would there be an easy way to change the theme tag template page into one that I created from WPDM?
2. https://euromed-economists.org/authors/ayadi-rym/ for example , I want to add the download link for each post here into the theme template, I looked inside the docs but could not find what is the proper way to do that.
For some reason the WPDM Directory Add-on vs 4.0.1 stopped working. It just shows the shortcode now – I’ve redownloaded the plugin and installed it – I’ve restarted the download manager plugin – and still nothing working –
this is the shortcode I’m using:
[wpdm-archive cat_view=”hidden” cols=”3″ button_style=”default” link_template=”link-template-default-ext” items_per_page=”6″ category=”panel-doctors” order_by=”field-name” order=”asc or desc” login=1]
It has worked perfectly in the past.
Thanks – Scott
Hello, in the packages managment (downloads/all packages) in the backend i’d like to have direct download-links for either the package itself or its contained files. Can you please help me to achieve that.
Kind Regards
