We using the download manager and put the shortocde [file_list] in the template.
We have a download button to donwload the Zip file (this link open in a new tab with that code :

[link_label]</div>The problem is I need to open also a new tab when i click to download buttons of “file list”.
We try to open in new tab the [file_list] buttons documents, but it’s open always in the same tab.Can you help us ?

Is it possible to prevent the txt from being downloaded by saying that the download is not allowed if someone copies the download link and tries to download without being logged in?
yes it is possible, I prefer that it generates a 404 error as if that content did not exist.Thanks for everything.

Hello,
I’m currently using your plugin, I have filled my download base (approximately 300 downloads).
We are on an internally hosted site, and when we copy and paste the site to put it online, the “link” between the files and the “pages” downloads broke. The files were no longer in the pages.So we wanted to use the “Import / export” function, we downloaded the CSV file, but when we want to import it on our new site, the import window stops at 1%.
Have you ever had this kind of problem ? Can you help us ?

I have just checked the example link. They used direct file link as download link. It is an unsecured way to make downloads of files. You can follow this but you dont need WPDM for that.
However, you can follow these shortcodes of WPDM to check different views of WPDM tables. I would suggest to use Language names in title/description in the download packages.Thanks

1.In regards to Digital Products is there a way to show a price & maintain having the download link button at the same time as i am trying to adapt WPDM for a different purpose than you designed it for. I would like to show clients there estimates when i post them on WPDM, I would like to have the price of the quote showing in the page template & also give the option to download the quote. Im sure it is only the matter of fudging one of the codes in the Digital Products plugin but i am not sure which on if you could show me i can do it in my file manager & modify it there this would be greatly appreciated if you could assist here is a link to the page i am setting up to give you some idea what i am trying to accomplish

Hi,
When I use a template that shows filename (to be downloaded) along with the download button, the file name is hyperlinked. Clicking on which opens another page, this causes confusion among the users. Is there anyway that the hyperlink is removed and only the download button is clickable.

With RegardsI am using [wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="10" order_by="update_date" order="DESC" jstable=1 cols="title,download_count,update_date|download_link|categories" colheads="Title / Last Update|Download|Categories (click to filter)"].
Everything works great except the order_by. It seems to be ignoring the update_date and instead simply listing everything in descending alphabetical order by title (i.e. it is defaulting to title rather than update_date). I have also tried “orderby” (no underscore) having seen that in other pages on this site. Is it because I don’t have update_date in its own column? What am I missing? Thanks!

It used to work fine. If I roll back (approx) 1 month of backups, it works. But seems now not with all the updates. All my WP is updated and I’ve tried turning off all other plugins.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!The WPDM Pro update to 6.0.2 wiped out all of the download widgets on every page of my site. After manually adding all of the widgets back, all download links are broken and result in the error below. Using the Amazon S3 Pro add-on as well. Need to get this fixed as soon as possible, please help!
