Hi there,

there is a bug in the [wpdm_all_packages] shortcut, that is the sorting of the date column doesn’t work if the user has any custom date setting in WordPress. For example we’re using “j. F Y” for the publish date and the table sorting sorts alphabetically instead of by date. We located this bug in tpls3/wpdm-all-downloads.php in line 299. Instead of:

$dor = array(‘publish_date’ ► strtotime(get_the_date()), ‘create_date’ ► strtotime(get_the_date()), ‘update_date’ ► strtotime(get_the_modified_date(”, get_the_ID())));

it should be:

$dor = array(‘publish_date’ ► strtotime(get_the_date(‘Y-m-d’)), ‘create_date’ ► strtotime(get_the_date(‘Y-m-d’)), ‘update_date’ ► strtotime(get_the_modified_date(‘Y-m-d’, get_the_ID())));

Note that the date format has to be given explicitely to the get_the_date() function. This fixes the bug on our site, but please update this in the WPDM code so that it doesn’t break again in the next updates!

I have a lot of downloads in one category and I’d like to merge two.
Otherwise, I’d like to transfer all the downloads from one category to another.
Since I have a lot of them, I wouldn’t want to do it by hand.
Is it possible to do it automatically?

The WPDM Directory Add-on is not working properly. Using the shortcode [wpdm-archive cat_view = “extended” showcount = “1” button_style = “secondary” link_template = “con_data_de_autor” cols = “1” items_per_page = “10” orderby = “field-name” order = “asc”] always shows all downloads. It only works when I change cat_view = “extended” to cat_view = “sidebar”

I have several downloads with multiple files. In all cases the individual file downloads work, but the button for the ‘Single File Download’ does not do anything.

Single File Download option is checked for the affected downloads.

I am really puzzled and would appreciate some advice.

I have been using shortcodes to display categories of downloads in alpha order by title. It has worked perfectly until recently. Now it seems as though the alpha order designation and the number of items to display before pagination are both being ignored. Can you help me determine what the issue might be & get it resolved?

An example of the shortcode that was working before but now isn’t:
[wpdm_category id="it-policies" toolbar="0" item_per_page="30" order_by="title" order="asc" cols=1 template="5e3db0d31913d"]

All plugins, including download manager & addons, are up-to-date. The theme and wordpress are both up-to-date. We tested for a plugin conflict and couldn’t find one.
