Sorry no, it isn’t working. The feed that I had is https://www.gunnedahbaptist.org.au/sermons/feed/ but that is not my downloads feed

So I have a Downloads category called sermons, the slug is sermon-downloads … what is the rss feed for that?

This is a problem worth promoting to the top of your queue. I just cleared more than 30,000 cache files from a small, low-traffic website. The out-of-control wpdm-cache put us over our host’s file limit, which then limited our site’s operations. The wpdm-cache folder is accumulating more than a megabyte’s worth of cache files per day — and most days we have zero downloads.

This should not be considered a feature request; it is a flaw.

Hello,

Im building an intranet where users can create/edit posts and custom post types. Using WPDM Pro with Pro Membership.

All memberships are free und without a registration, users get created from a user library.

I create wordpress users via Microsoft Active Directory/LDAP and they are “Subscribers”.

At the moment every new WordPress User gets the role “Subscriber” but no Pro Membership. New users should get both to make certain downloads only visible for some users.

Is there anyway to auto sync new word press users with a Pro Membership?

Hi,

Please follow these steps for upgrading the plugin,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.

To enable the auto-update, login to your WPDM account from the Downloads > Settings > License tab. If login is successful and you have an active subscription then you can update the future releases right from your plugins page.

Then you should use download limit setting the value 999999 as the Limit Reset Period. It should work for an unlimited download option.

Please let me know if those works for you

Did exactly what you said, except the activation. We have a 1 site licence and this is our development server. If we copy everything over to our live production we can activate this single licence there.

But still no change. The favorite button doesn’t work.

With WPEngine we tested with all plugins off, basic themes, nothing made the favorite button work.

So kind of stuck here. It is the main feature of the plugin.

What we can see is that if we go to the my downloads page, some of the images we set to favorite are there. But not all of them.. So it is saving the favorites in a way. but doesn’t update the number favorites, after favoriting the package. And not all the favorites are being saved.

hello, thanks for your interest.
But there are those who are stuck in my head. Now I want to learn the logic of what exactly happens when we value roles.
Also, how can we do this if we want to give unlimited downloads to all roles?

Maybe I am not asking this correctly.

Let me try to better explain what we have.

Under Settings I go to ‘Quick Forms’

Once there I have a field called DPSI Customer # with the following attributes:
– Field Label: DPSI Customer Number
– Field Name: acf_Registration_cust_no
– Field Type: Text
– Required Attribute: Not Required

Once the user registers on our site we capture the information. We can then go to the Users/All Users section of the wordpress site. There we can view the customer and we see the DPSI Customer # that they entered on the registration form.

The customer then logs into our site and downloads a file that is password protected. They are prompted with a message saying that an email will be sent to them with the password to unlock the file.

An email is then sent to our support team (via Download Notifications) stating the a user has downloaded a file and requires a password to unlock the file after download. Our support teams then needs to verify that this is a active customer of ours and is permitted to unlock the software that they downloaded.

Here is the problem: The email that support receives contains the users email address but we cannot show the DPSI Customer # that was entered during registration.

We need to show the DPSI Customer # on this email that we send to our Customer Support team.

How can we do this?

Hi and thanks for your quick reply. I finally found it here: Downloads > Settings > User Interface : the Bootstrap-Version had not been chosen yet. I set it to version 4 and it finally worked like a charm.

Oh really sorry, I have missed your topic. It may be a CSS or Jquery issue. Because, when you click the additional preview images “plus” image it takes you to the top of the page. Please try adjusting from Downloads > Settings > User Interface enabling/disabling styles/scripts. It may help you. Please let me know.

Hi,

If somebody clicks the download button, then it needs to stay on the same page for some time. Like when you press the button it downloads the file from the generated link. By default, the feature is, it has to be closed the popup manually.

Please install the Premium Package ( https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/premium-package-wordpress-digital-store-solution/ ) to customize the currency option.

If you have already installed it then go to Downloads > Settings > Premium Package > Payment > Currency Configuration to change the currency.
