Yes. ALL of our downloads expire before the expiration time. It’s not just one file!

When I set a Download Manager Expiration date it will be expired before the time it’s suppose to be expired.

    An example is:
Download is available from: 2021-02-09 11:59
    Download Expire on: 2021-02-09 15:59

On my computer the time 12:21 PM and when I go to view a file it says DOWNLOAD ERROR:
Download was expired on Feruary 9, 2021 03:59 PM

THE FILE IS ALREADY EXPIRED and it’s only 12:21 PM my time.

Please simply click the Save Settings again for license key option from Downloads > Settings > License, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this time

    and for add-on for now,

1 ) Download the latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
2 ) Install the latest version

    thanks

Hello I just upgraded from 5.2.4 to 3.1.13 with pro valid license and I can no longer email lock my downloads. They are all publicly accessible. I’ve cleared page caches etc, still no email lock option. There is just no option for it within my individual downloads any more.

    Wordpress 5.6.1. Please advise!

I don’t think it’s the plugin the word “downloads” is set by you, the breadcrumb is automatic, ie the widget has no settings to change taxonomy and custom post titles, but detects them automatically.

    Can you please help me?

I know this is probably a very basic question, but I just want to show all downloads available (for the specified user role) on the dashboard, but only AFTER they login. I’m currently using this on my dashboard page:

    [wpdm_user_dashboard]

    [wpdm_all_packages login=1 thumb=1 jstable=1 order_by="title" order="ASC" cols="title|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Updated|Download::155px"]

But the problem is that all downloads are showing under the login form. Granted the files are not downloadable…but I don’t even want them to show up.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks!!

That can be done using the pro membership plugin. If all those packages are assigned to any membership roles, subscribers of that membership plan will be able to download them free. They need to go to User Dashboard ► My Downloads

No, I’m just trying to change the template that displays on a “downloads” page after I have clicked on a category (the WPDM Category URL Base).

I can change the “all-downloads” WPDM Archive Page to the “Default Template (Extended)” template but I can’t find where to change the template for the “downloads” pages. The categories pages will only show in the “Call to Action 1” template.

I am still not able to access all packages from my dashboard. I can access every other tab under Downloads but that one. It is now showing me a 500 Error.

Hi wanted to follow up to see if there are any solutions?

The shortcodes are not working on the latest plugin version for “WPDM – Advanced Access Control”

Someone helped us apply a patch that I had to restore to get it to display again; but latest plugin doesn’t have working shortocdes

    This shortcode doesn’t work:
    [wpdm_my_downloads login=1 template=”link-template-calltoaction3″ cols=”4″]

    Hi

We use download manager with form lock. In our tests, email notification is sent at the moment the form is sent.
Actually, we have the problem, that we can’t see who really did the click to download the file package. The notification mail is sent before the user (maybe) does the click on download link. So what can we do to se who not just fills out the form but really downloads the files?

    Thanks and kind regards
    Evi

    Hi there,

I am trying to achieve the below, but I am having trouble with the templates.

I want my archive page (Link template) to have a search bar and list the download categories (as per the top section of the demo site).

Then categories open to list of document downloads (page template) that will display similar to ‘featured downloads’.

All my documents are free to all visitors to download and only need to have title, version and date meta.

Is the plugin able to accommodate this?

    Hi
I inherited this website, and don’t know any html. So please make any instructions idiot proof, and thank you in advance – I’ve been trying for 6 straight hours to fix this and I’m desperate.
Website is WordPress, running WP Bakery.

    Problem 1:
The archive won’t display more than 12 of the packages (there are 17). I tried setting
“cols=1 items_per_page=”10” to 20, but it makes no difference.

    I don’t know why they won’t display.

Looking at the plugin list in WordPress, we have paid and installed for:
Download Manager, WPDM Accordian, WPDM Archive Page, WPDM Button Templates, Extended Short codes, Image Button and TinyMCE Button.

    Secondly, according to: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-directory-add-on/
I should be able to access some of these (rather than just seeing them in the plug in list)
For example, I don’t have one of these:
    http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/wpdm-archive-page-addon-shortcode-generator.png
So I’m not sure anything is installing correctly.

The only one that I can access is Downloads (and I found a TinyMCE option in the Word Press Settings).
In Downloads / Settings / Updates
it insists Accordian has expired, but in the Plug in list it thinks it’s working? And I keep trying to redownload it from the website and nothing happens.

Help? I don’t know where to start, and I don’t really know much about webpages so I don’t even know if I’m describing the problems correctly.

    Hi
    Update placed on the 29th

“Update – By a series of deletion of categories and packages and then re-adding them I now have all 4 of the “Failed” categories working BUT I still cannot access the “Bin” section of the All packages page to delete old ones”

I have just rechecked the situation and it remains the same

Only access to the “BIN’ in the downloads plugin is causing a problem today

    Cheers

I think I need a demo with the membership extension installed, because it is too unclear, I am reading all the documentation, videos, forums but I cannot find answers to my questions.

I think I also understood that membership is a good extension but then I have to sell only with membership, that is, the packages I add must not be priced, they must be free and then insert a couple of subscription plans to offer the download of all the packages . Then the user buys the subscription and downloads everything. But I also wanted to sell individually. That is, both with subscription and single price. For example, all products cost $ 5 each, while if you subscribe you pay $ 15 dollars a month and you can download all products with the limit of 3 different downloads per day.

I believe I can do this, but I can’t set the price on every package. This with woocommerce is very easy to do is a real shame that it cannot be done here. I hope I’m wrong. Because in some aspects you have features that I really like. But if I can’t offer this solution to my clients then my website becomes limited and you should upgrade too in that case.

I’m getting critical error when klicking <Downloads> or <All Packages> on left WP Menu, too.
    Categories are shown well.
But the plugin is still working.

For version control, you may check this add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/, for attaching files you may attach files manually for this and for Downloads -> All packages attached file has not such column

    thanks

I got the same issue. All downloads are showing „access denied“ in the file Browser overview. Also I keep getting a 500 server error if I try to access the „all packages“ page. It seems that the plugin has no access to the files folder on the ftp anymore. However, nothing seems to have changed. Write/read access still the same.
I also tried to roll back to an older Version of the download pro plugin. Still the same, so I guess it‘s caused by a WordPress update or something like that.

    Thank you,
    Andreas

    Hello,

I have one file, attached to multiple packages. Is it somehow possible to update this file (the file itself and version number) for all this packages at once? Or do I really need to open all packages one by one and update the file manually per package?

If this is not possible; is it possible to show all the attached files in the admin list for a package under ‘Downloads’ -> ‘All packages’?

    A few questions:

    1) I know you have a shopping cart and payment system available but we need to charge our members different amounts (based on their credentials) for the same one-year membership. WooCommerce has a plugin called “Name Your Price” that allows for this. Do you have a plugin that is similar?

    2) If not, can the Download Manager be set up independently of any membership fees we collect via WooCommerce? In other words, can I set up the software to manage free downloads by members and then, separately, add a paywall using WooCommerce to protect the section where the download links are?

    Let me know; thanks.

    Sunil

Hi, I bought your special pack, I need to create a website where there will be digital products for sale, but I also need the downloads to expire after 1 month of purchase. That is, the user who buys will be able to download all future updates for 1 month, after which if he wants the other updates he will have to buy back the product.

Or, tell me if it is possible through the membership extension, activate a monthly subscription in which the user can download a maximum of 3 downloads per day but as soon as the subscription expires if the user does not renew he will no longer be able to download anything and not even previous downloads.

Can this be done at least with the membership extension? I don’t find guides anywhere

    Thank you
