I am working on setting up the theme I recently purchased and I have a few questions. I purchased the theme from Theme Forest, and comes with a lot of plugins and customized posts. I am able to favorite, like/dislike, etc. one every post; but I am unable to do so with the downloads. I also am using Visual Composer to setup my homepage, and I cant figure out how to add the most recent downloads I have added to the front page; like I did with my other posts. I am wondering is there any way I can set the downloads to function as a normal post type; so all of the plugins I have installed will function on the downloads page also, and so I am able to use visual composer to customize my website easily?

1. Probably you have to disable
Twitter BootstrapfromDownloads->Settings->Misc Settings.

One thing, if you noticed on the same page on right sidebar, I’m calling similar template with ‘Top Downloads Widget’ on that sidebar and that is working (what I want to do with [wpdm-archive]). Can you please help?
Topic: password problem
I have a simply configuration. The most of Downloads I work with login user role. But for some downloads I want to give password access (sometimes instead and sometimes additionally if possible).
But don’t know how to configure.
When I try in frontend I get the “Access Denied” but no box for entering the password.Thanks for help.

Is there any way to set up Download Manager to subscribe people to multiple specified MailChimp maillists via the API key?
At the moment, it seems that downloads of all packages are restricted to one maillist.
It would be helpful to know whether you can set up multiple separate subscriptions.

Hi,
I recently purchased Download Manager Pro and the Download Limit addon in order to limit users to 1 download of each file in the directory and a total of 2 downloads every week.
Limiting users to 1 download of each file works fine but after downloading 2 different files there is nothing stopping them from downloading more. In the settings tab of the Download Manager I set the user download limit to 2 for all users except for guests (which I left blank because they shouldn’t be able to download anything) and the limit reset period to 7 days.
Is there something that I’m missing to enable the 2 downloads per week functionality?

Actually download limit is working fine, but if you try downloading a package repeatedly in same session, it will be counted as 1. Additionally, daily download doesn’t control the downloads in membership area.

I did setup the tpls-folder on my website and renamed it to ‘download-manager’ and now i’m trying to edit the ‘wpdm-all-downloads.php’ file.
My problem is… Im not a shark when it comes to editing PHP, it has been ages!

I did look it up but I can’t seem to figure this out xDAnd when i add another colum, i want the outcome for that specific colum to be ‘Tags’. How do i do that?

B) Select Categories – but no sub Category will be shown.

When I download 4.2.2 zip and try to install it, it says it can’t because the folder already exists.
Do I have to uninstall and reinstall to get an update?

So if I want to update to Version 4.2.2 of Pro, and 3.2.1 of Premium Packages, is their a way I can do this without totally reinstalling everything? And if I have to reinstall everything, what is the best way to keep from losing all of my previous downloads I created?

Thank you for activating the add on.
Today I try to list all my downloads but the add on can’t find downloads…
I enclosed a picture IssueAddOn which shows that the add on doesn’t work properly.
Indeed I have three different downloads in different categories but when I select a category, no one download appears.I have another issue, I have a lot of files on my OVH server but when I try to select one I can’t because there is no scroll bar (please refer to enclosed picture IssueAttachFile). Is it normal? How can I do?

I have a large website for downloads. more than 50 THOUSAND files and more than 1TB size.
The files are already on the server. I have 3 questions:1- If I used the bulk import option (which is great because it creates packages straight away) are there any limitations (hardware or software) that can hinder the performance of my website? since all files will be dumped into one folder “download-manager-files”, so can the plugin use the folder effectively with such number of files?
2-Is there a way to create subfolders inside the “download-manager-files” files? I bought the “File Manager” add on but it just makes me able to surf the server, but all the files still go automatically to the “download-manager-files” folder.
3-I lost all control on the files inside the “download-manager-files” folder. i can’t delete any files even with all the plugins related to the WPDM deactivated. even with Filezilla ftp, it will give me:
550 permission denied !! is this intended?
I had done some trial packages, and the only way to delete the trial files was to delete the “download-manager-files” itself by Filezilla and re-create it again.
