Hi –
(This is a multi-site install) Since the update all password protected downloads no longer function on any of our sub-sites. Even when we create a new package with a password, nothing happens. I’ve cleared server cache and WPDM > Settings > Cache and it made no difference. I’ve also saved the License setting again, still no difference. People are unable to get downloads needed for our business.

I have checked that,
[wpdm_my_downloads login=1]is working fine with the shared role, and for package download button hide with the free version is also working from your side too. If you are trying When a user is not allowed to download: Hide Everything, that is possible only in the PRO version. I would like to upload mp4 videos for download on my site. When I create a package and use the Video Player page template, I get an error on the front end: “No video with supported format and MIME type found” where the video preview should be. I cannot find any settings in the plugin that would allow me to specify/allow certain video formats.
If I use the download button from either the package post or the video category archive page, the video downloads just fine so it obviously exists but it’s just not previewing properly.
What could be the issue here?

I use Advanced Access Control to give access to some files for only assigned users.
Unfortunatle, when i use the “Package by category” widget it shown all files available on the category, even the files wich are not avaible for the user (ok the file is not ok to be downloaded but i’d like the file not to be shown at all if i’m not a assigned user)
I’d like to sort and show files by categories for my assigned users, what the [wpdm_my_downloads login=1] shortcord is not doing.
Any idea how to fix that ?

@humayon Thank you for your reply. I think the last time it was update was September or August.. I followed the directions in that section:
Pre-designed templates can’t be deleted or edited from this section. But you can clone any of them and edit as your own. If you seriously want to edit any pre-designed template you have to edit those directly edting php files at /download-manager/templates/ dir”
These directions are outdated since those files moved but I found post in this forum where the real path was provided by a moderator.
Is the more sustainable way to clone an existing template and use that? I am ok with that but I do not see how to apply that to all downloads (we have more that 200 now) quickly.

No , issue is with only android…In iphone no issue , only in android it is adding .zip extension to all downloads…
I just bought this to update permissions on all existing downloads. When I add ‘All Visitors’ as an access level and click ‘update all’ it says that it has done it, but nothing changes on the existing posts.
I have disabled all plugins in case of a conflict, made no difference. Posts are not being updated.
Upgraded our plugin to the Pro version 6.0.8 and receiving critical errors. Our downloads are no longer working using Pro version 5.4.1 – just a spinning wheel when we click to download a file – so trying to update the plugin to see if that takes care of the issue.

Can you please explain a bit more what problem you are facing so that you need to check every downloads?
It is not usually necessary to check all downloads because wpdm does not contain such problems. There is no such function to check all downloads. You can create a new package and check that at the same time after creating the package.
If any issue arises, please, provide us necessary details with your temporary wp-admin login details and site URL in a private reply for checking the issue.

I am in the process of upgrading to the latest version of WPDM Pro and can not find the wpdm-all-downloads.php file, that used to be in the tpls folder. I wish to replace it with my own custom table, as I did in the previous version.
Yes the issue was solved with that parameter, I request then that this parameter be added to the “[wpdm_category] – Query All Downloads From One or More Categories” documentation page before I close this issue as resolved.

Yes it is possible to upload multiple files in a package and you can also enable single download.
I apologize, however, that the table view using wpdm shortcodes will not be like the screenshot.

ThanksI use the “Attach Dir” field quite a bit, and have been having issues with it for quite some time – I cannot update the plugin past 5.4.1 due to the these issues.
I have a test site where I have updated to 6.0.8 – here you can see the issues. When I attach a directory, it does not list/download all of the files that are actually in that directory. Here is one of my downloads: https://wptest.wprnd.net/download-new/testing-jpg-downloads/
If you click the “Download” button (blue one) you will see that it does not download all of the files that are listed in the list.
Also – the list does not include all of the files that are in the directory. There are more PDF files that it is not listing.
Can this be looked into? Thank you.

Using Dwnld Manager Free 5.3.3 on my WordPress Intranet site.
Made files available to all users within the business to download… Recently tried to check downloads on a mobile (via Chrome or Samsung browser) and only certain files download successfully. There doesn’t seem to be any correlation between which work and which don’t and file types.
All files can be downloaded successfully from the desktop (using Chrome).
Are there any known issues of this sort?
Any help would be appreciated 🙂
