Information has come to light that in the upcoming update, users will be allowed to change the /download/ from here if ( preg_match( “/\/download\/([\d]+)\/(.+)\/(.*)/”, $_SERVER[‘REQUEST_URI’], $matched ) && !empty($_GET[‘filename’]) ).

I hope this will resolve the issue.

Kindly try deactivating all plugins temporarily except Download Manager.You can use Health Check & Troubleshootingplugin. It allows you to do a number of tests in a browser session, without affecting visitors to your live site.
