Hello,
I hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Could you please share related URL in a private reply, so I can identify your directory view?
Thank you.
Yes, you’re absolutely right, every user has a valid user_id, and this issue is not related to login.
As you can see(in the stats section), I’ve tested downloads using both the clanderson716
and EJGD
accounts, and the stats appeared correctly in both cases.
If you’re able to share the IPs, it would be a great help, but no worries if not. We’re actively working to recreate the scenario in our testing environment and continue to investigate the issue. We’ll provide you with an update as soon as we have more information.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello, Anna
We just need the admin login credentials along with the user IDs of those experiencing stats issue. Once we have that, we’ll switch to those user accounts and download a few files to check if there are any IP related problem.

Hello, Joseph
Thank you so much for your suggestion regarding the Flutterwave addon.
We’ll be looking into the feasibility of integrating Flutterwave, and if everything aligns technically and strategically, we hope to include it in a future update.
Thanks again for helping us improve the platform with your valuable feedback!
Best regards
I am checking. Also, I was referring to Download Manager settings option ‘Blocked IPs”.
You can try using Loco Translate
plugin as an alternative for translating only the text fields. However, please note that I’m not entirely sure how well it will work alongside WPML.
I would recommend testing it on your staging site first to ensure compatibility and avoid any unexpected issues on your live site.
This behavior is due to how the WPML add-on currently manages translations, it treats each translated version as a completely separate package. Could you please contact WPML support? They will be able to pinpoint the issue easily.
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out.
Maybe the popup login bypasses country restrictions, which may cause it to reappear for users from restricted regions. You can try using the IP blocking option, but applying country-level restrictions this way may require blocking a large number of IP addresses.
A more effective and scalable solution would be to use the wpdm_before_download filter to block access based on country.
Please check and let me know.

Please ask WP Engine to check the MIME type mapping for .pptx files.
Hello, Tobias
I hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Just to clarify, you have thousands of downloads created in German, and when translating them into English, the shortcode changes, correct? Also, could you please explain what you mean by the ‘file container’ or share the exact shortcode you’re using?
Please check and let me know.

Unfortunately, we don’t have access to backend logs for Microsoft’s Office Viewer service, as that viewer is entirely operated by Microsoft. The error page you’re seeing is generated by them.
There is a strong possibility that the issue may be caused by IP restrictions:
– This can happen if your live site has country-based access rules enabled, for example, restricting access to only certain countries or blocking specific IP ranges.Could you please confirm if such restrictions are in place? If so, we suggest temporarily disabling them and testing the preview again. It’s possible that these restrictions are preventing Microsoft’s service from accessing the file.
– Microsoft maintains a list of IP addresses used by Office 365, including those for the Office Online services that power document previews. Please ensure that connectivity to these domains and IP ranges is not being blocked. Pay a visit here for more information.
We hope this helps resolve the issue.

Any firewall rules, hotlink protection, or authentication layers could block or redirect traffic from view.officeapps.live.com when trying to fetch a file from your domain.
