That is coming from the download limit addon that you are using. It is related to the reset download codes.
If you disable that addon completely, then this will be gone.

That is get from wp-content\plugins\wpdm-daily-download\wpdm-daily-download.php

Yes you can control the access based on roles.

But for selecting individual usser, you have to use the suggested addon in my previous message. I hope you have got it now.
For the second issue I would suggest to increase php memory limits of the server. It will solve many unwanted errors.

However, if the issue still persists, please provide temporary admin access with related links to check the issues closely.

Glad to see you again. Sorry for the delay. Here are the answers of your queries.

Added a new link template new_link_template_panelby copying existing for changes.

1. Filter by publication type and keyword is not possible. You can filter packages by custom taxonomy terms
2. Set the link template there image will not be cropped.
3. Load More button is not possible but I have added async=1 in shortcode that will load like load more button when pagination button is clicked.

yes possible 90% but for that it needs custom styling in link template and also need to remove the some info like download count and size from. link template

Hello Beth,

You can set dropzone from Downloads > Settings > Basic menu

Please follow this to enable dropzone properly.

To setup upload page you have to visit Downloads > Settings > FrontEnd Access Follow this for details

Howerver. Upload feature is different than dropzone feature. Dropzone is a latest features of WPDM.

To assign individual user to download package, you have to also use the below addon with WPDM:

Advanced Access Control

However, for the critical error, please provide more details about that. if possible please also share temporary admin access in a private reply.

If you select subscriber, then only subscribers roles after login will be able to download that. You can’t download that even you are an admin. You can also select multiple users roles from there.

Did you try with subscriber role to download? Let me know please after checking properly with different roles and try to download after login with that user role to make sure the downloads work. Don’t hesitate to reply here again.

DropZone allows site users to share files with site admin in a easy way. It is a new option/feature with WordPress Download Manager Pro v6.1.8+. Use shortcode [wpdm_dropzone] to add this option on your site.

You can test the feature from here using username and password demo

In our testing environment with the latest WPDM, the adding link is working properly. I am unable to visit the admin as it show invalid username or password.
You can check my testing from here

In your video I found that, it shows invalid link because link is not valid. Make sure you add total link with https://www.

I hope it will solve the issue.

I have got this. I also tried by creating a new user with the same pending.. role but after creating I am not able to login with that user says “username or password not recognized.” Since the issue appears just once, it would be easier for me to inspect if I create a new user to test.
Could you please tell me the reason of this? Is there any server cache ?
