Both plugins work separately. Download limit works based on user role and with membership you can create unlimited user role.
So if you set download limit based on user role, when that role is changed after cancelling subscription, it will get the default user role. So download limit will be changed.

We sent an email 7 days prior about auto-renewal before the charge. Our all products renew automatically. We showed the auto-renewal notice on product page, pricing page and checkout page.

You can directly edit the language files using loco translate then save those accordingly.You don’t need to translate those separately from FTP.
you just need to find the text string that will be translated. Then you will translate that. It will make the string changed when site language is changed.

WPDM doesn’t handle those downloads.
To upload downloads that will be handled with WPDM, please upload files using the below section
