The title may relate to your active theme single.php file. You may copy your theme single.php file and make a file from that to the single-wpdmpro.php file. And make adjustments, where necessary. please check and let me know

Sorry for the inconvenience. Individual file permission is not related to WPDM. You can restrict or modify files as your own. However, WPDM also has an option for changing file permission, you can do this for files from Downloads > Asset Manager as I image attached,
