Hi,
Have you passed and configured all the required parameters on that shortcode or did you just copy and pasted the original shortcode from the plugin page?
For example categories="example1,example2".
Also, you didn’t provide us with your admin login credentials to check and configure it properly.

The page you have shared is showing like this.
However, Can you please clear your site cache? Also, there can be a conflict with another plugin, can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking, please let me know then.
Also, Pdf viewer is disabled with lazy download for security reasons. You can disable lazy downloads for specific packages.

It’s a native WordPress function and not related to WPDM.
If it’s returning false then it means that there is some misconfiguration in the custom roles to restrict access plugin configuration/functionality.

Archive one is named as WPDM Directory Add-on.
Also, please don’t use the WPDM – TinyMce Button add-on as we are going to remove it ASAP. Because everyone is tending to use Gutenberg and WordPress is also recommending to use it.
However, if you cooperate with us by providing your admin login credentials and related page/package URL then we will set up the shortcode for you. Maybe you are inserting the shortcode wrong that’s why it’s not working.
Please, copy and use the exact shortcode from the add-on page or let us do it for you.

Hi,
If you check the documentation then you should be able to find the shortcodes specifically [wpdm_archive_filter items_per_page="10" template="default" cols=1].
The shortcode will generate this layout from where you will able to filter documents by following this.
