Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Mostly, 500 internal server error occurs due to server.
However, yes, you can delete .htaccess and then try.
But before deleting take a backup of the .htaccess file.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Let me clarify when you will use the category=slug
parameter with the referred shortcode then the sidebar will show child cats of that category only.
However, as of now, there is no option to show selective categories and we may add that in a future release.

Hello,
Greetings for the day.
You are facing such issues because several plugins’ required core files are not loading from the server.
Here’s the reference screenshot: https://prnt.sc/RiX5m7cRdR_c
Therefore, I’d request you to check whether there are any plugins installed that might be causing this.
Here is what you can do to check:
1. Please try switching to another theme, like Twenty Twenty-one
, and check whether the issue persists or not. If not, then it is the theme that is causing the error.
2. Deactivate all plugins temporarily except WPDM and see if that solves the problem. Then, activate the plugins individually to see which plugin is causing the problem.
3. Try one more time after clearing your browser, website, and CDN caches if you have any. You may temporarily disable the caching plugin for testing.
Please let me know how that goes. I will be happy to help with any further assistance you might need.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
First, please ensure that you are using the latest version of WPDM and the Archive add-on.
Also, please use the valid shortcode parameter from the below link.
I have tested with this [wpdm_archive button_style="default" template="link-template-default" cols=1 category="apk,123124" items_per_page="10" orderby="title" order="ASC" login=1 last_state=0]
shortcode and it worked well.
