actually if it suddenly stop working, then it could be a issue with your server or conflict with other plugin you recently installed, please deactivate all recently installed plugins and try to use wpdm, again activate those one after another to detect which only making wpdm non-functional.

sorry for delayed reply. in free version there are no option for preview image but you can upload preview image and insert in description.

you can’t upload directory, but you can add as many files as your want with a package.

you can use bulk import feature which will create all packages automatically for each file you kept in /download-manager/imports/ directory

if you already using other facebook connect plugin in your site, that could make conflict with facebook lock with wpdm pro.
