2) yes, icon can’t be linked that way
3) actually you don’t need to un-select it, you simply can remove [icon] tag from link template

if you are using multi-site, I suggest to use dev license. That will work better. But now you need to activate plugin for a site seperately after network activation.

Now its happening because, download manager db tables not created for that site.
