1) some add-on may not work properly will wpdm pro 4.0.0.rc1, but everything will be ok with final release
2) yes, compatible with multiple roles
3) rc2 is ready to release , rc3 coming on 29th dec, and final release on 6th january 2014.

short-code will available with final release of wpdm pro 4, anyhow we are releaseing tinymce button add-on ( free ) for 4.0 tomorrow, you can use that to generate short-code.

wpdm pro uses wp’s native jquery library in standard way. if any jquery conflict happen then there you need to fix the slider activate, nothing to change in wpdm pro

your license key is active and open. it should work fine except your servr firewall is blocking wpdownloadmanager.com from validating the key.

sorry for delays, its ok now. it was happening, because your server is not supporting output buffering. so we had to disable output buffering in your installation.
