Using this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/ you can preset some package settings data, so you will need the add-on to keep other role preselected.
your theme is using wp query improperly, but I didn’t change it in your theme but I rested the query using wp_reset_query() function in download manager.
now, wpdm has option to preview audio file with player and playlist, but video preview support will be added soon.
simply use [csutom_field_name_here] , that will show the value of the custom field.

this is exactly sample as applying page template for regular page, in wpdm pro you should see a meta box for select page template in right sidebar.

in case of remote URL, mutiple files download at a time is not possible and files are stored in remote location. but you can use individual download option. you can use delete permanently with latest update of wpdm pro. but don’t pro never deletes any file, it could be something with your server.
Looks like your support & update period ( 1 year after purchase ) for pro is expired.
It is working fine now, your server was not support “fopen” and now I’ve changed it with “readfile”
1) to remove icon issue, please rename xlsx_mac.png with xlsx.png in dir /plugins/download-manager/file-type-icons/32x32/
2) To hide the popup simply need to click on trigger link again, though, I’ll add a close button on next update
