the add-on is not translation ready yet, anyhow translation will be added soon. File info don’t need to be translation ready, as they are coming from link/page template and you need to put the text in your language there.
that is not an issue, tree view works in that way. You are seeing the package title in tree view and file list is showing in details page.
anyhow it was a conflict with jetpack photon, I disabled photon and image are showing fine.
for first issue please make uploads/download-manager-files dir writable, then it will work fine.
for 2nd issue, please select access before import. Selected access value will be applied for all imported packages.

You can activate license key in a single domain at a time, but if your test site in a subdir ( domianname.de/xxx ) rather then subdomain ( xxx.domainname.de ) you can continue using same key in both installation at a time, anyhow if you still need to use subdomain, please give me the key license in a private reply whenever you need to unlock it to use it with live site.

You also can assign a dir to a package, and if you enable individual download, user will be full file list at front-end and they can download any single file or full dir.
