Not yet, But we are adding the option with this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wp-pro-membership/ , where you can add multiple upload limit for different membership levels.
Yesterday I check pro version for the feature, got the issue and also updated in your installation. Then I tested it there, it looked working fine. Again I checked it in here and it is working fine. Shall I install the updated pro version again in your installation?

wpdm stores dynamic thumbnails in cache dir, you can’t change that. Anyhow may you please tell me what is the problem with keeping it in cache dir.
If you use files as URL, they will not be protected by wpdm, it is better to use browse option when files are in same server.
As I see, you have modified single-wpdmpro.php and somewhere html tag was not closed, please restore original single-wpdmpro.php, then everything will looks ok again.

I see it is a multi-site setup, so I need network admin access, As I see, your server is adding a blind char with filename there somehow, I need to trim that editing a line in wpdm-start-download.php .
Sorry, “waiting for a plugin to work” is not correct, as I said plugin is perfectly functional, and if you need help with setup, you see I’m here to help.

There are no extra step, you always need to use short-code and here it is single short-code. This is http://themes.wpdownloadmanager.com/file-hosting/ also a multi-site setup and you see short-code is working fine, login with demo/demo to check that. So everything is actually working fine except there is something wrong with setup in your installation.
About clients happiness, every seller wants that so do we, thats why we told you about that add-on and worked hard to finish and release it, we could skip that part and original wpdm pro doesn’t provide that feature. So you also should give us a chance to make you happy 🙂
if you want only single icon for all post, you can create a link template in hard code icon html ( for example <img src=”icon-url-here” /> ) and other link template code to short additional package info ( doc: http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/ ) .
Please use this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ to generate short-code , select button style “Success” while generating short-code for green button.
download limit plugin will only word for download button in wpdm download page, not in membership area, anyhow I’ll add the limit support with the next update of membership add-on 🙂
Yes, there are 3 tabs “Upload”, “Browser” , “URL” in attach file metabox, use “URL” to add URL

The cache dir is for reducing server load, like, when you add multiple files with a package, wpdm create cache for zipped files to download rather then zipping it every time when you click download, but sometimes you may empty cache dir manually if you want.
