Yes, we had to change some template in last update, but that is not a problem and you also don’t need to edit php file, please create a custom link template from Admin Menu Downloads Templates Link Template. Doc: http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/

It may look same, but if you click on file title, it will start download for public files rather then opening the details page. If that is not what you meant, may you please explain me with an example URL.

In new version of accordion you can control the look as you like using link template. ( Ex: [wpdm-accordion template="link-template-id"] )

You can remove details page link from link template, you need to replace [page_link] tag using [title]

You don’t have to modify accordion file, simply create a link template as per your need, then use the link template with accordion, like [wpdm-accordion template="link-template-id"]
