Sorry, but if it is in language file already wpdm have nothing much to do with it. “Processing…” already exists in language file and in some place, I just found “processing…” is hard coded, thank you for that, Anyhow I’ve adjusted it for next update, please let me know if you want me to update your site now.
in search, user may see the doc but will not be able to download, “Hide Everything” settings doesn’t have control over search listing page, it mostly depends on active theme.
Now only authorized users will be able to see categories in tree view. Please check access settings for categories.

you can attach file from any dir in same server, for can’t use short-code from one installation to another installation. However, if you need to share a package from one site to another site, you will need this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/file-hosting-sharing-add-on/

Categories need to be reattached again with packages, as after migration to custom post type, it was not possible to keep old links
