For now there is no other way to customize without editing class.FileList.php, we couldn’t keep it in template file due to some complex conditions with download link. Probably you may try applying some css for the classes used there.

Actually in most updates, some text strings are changed, so you always will have to update language file when plugin updates.

Not sure exactly why not working in your localhost, it is working fine in my localhost, but no code was edited for that as it was an preexisting feature.
It was happening for php timeout issue with your server, however, I’ve added the file as URL and now it will work fine.
Actually if your server’s php version is lower than 5.4, you won’t be able to use most of the advanced plugins, like woocommerce requires 5.6 or greater .

However, if you want to do it by yourself, you need to add the code at the end of your theme functions.php , then refresh your side homepage once, after page is loaded, delete the code and save file.

It looks like your are using very old version of WordPress Download Manage Pro, please update to WordPress Download Manage Pro 4.6, then the tinymce add-on will work fine.
