It will depend on your theme, nothing to do with wpdm. But you can change wpdm link and template from package settings. Docs:

If you are talking about the text on link/page template, they are not translatable. But you can change those texts editing link/page template ( Admin Menu Downloads Templates )
You can only do that in CSV import, however, we shall add the option with directory import with the next update of the plugin.

There is no option with wpdm to disable scripts in any specific page, however, you can disable bootstrap totally from wpdm settings page. However, wpdm script should not slow down your site, if you use cache plugin and enable browser and page cache.
The 2nd license key is linked with connect.iec.ch, however, I’ve unlocked both.
Got the issue. This was due to the option “Sanitize Filename”. I unchecked it and all upload should work fine now. However, we also fixed the issue with that option and released a new update ( 4.6.6 ) now, please download and update your copy.

It should work fine as it is. But to protect file you need to block HTTP access to dir /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/ ( https://www.nginx.com/resources/admin-guide/restricting-access/ ).

If you want to revoke access you just have to remove the role from access field and associated categories. No other action is required. However, if you found any package where an unauthorized user can download it, please give me the link and temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply to check the issue.

The plugin only caches the custom thumbnails, so that it doesn’t require to recreate every time, and wpdm doesn’t keep the custom thumbnails in upload dir, so that it doesn’t mess up default media library.
