Then when user clicks on the download button, that will be started downloaded.

1. How can I change the titling in the search sidebar? I want “Categories” to say “Languages” and “Tags” to say “Product Line”.
2. I need the title of each product to either go to the download or do nothing at all. I tried page_link=0 to no avail within the shortcode.

The only way you can use custom button using this addon. I have already told you that in chat. You can use that button shortcode in anywhere including page, post, page template and link template.
To modify the available buttons of button template you have to add custom css for the buttons. You may also need to edit the core files of button template addon to totally modify the available button.

Using the parameterpage_link=0anddownload_count=0in shortcode will disable the link.More details and parameter can be found below:

Got the issue.
Actually, link template previews are taken from download packages that are accessible to all visitors.
You can’t show a template preview since download packages aren’t public on your site.

Please create a separate topic for a new issue. Also please provide more details there to check the issue and fix. If link template/page template is created correctly, it should be previewed. Currently link template and page templates previews working fine from our side. You can check here.

For video player content will be available for all general download packages, But for premium/product packages, the preview will not come, you have to use the below template tag

If you add the template tag in page template or link template, the related output will be showed.

You can’t use html there directly, but you can create 2 fields instead of one.
For example:
Split<a href="https://www.dxf-downloads.de/infos/premium-user"><img src="https://www.dxf-downloads.de/premium.png" alt="Premium User Infos" /></a>into url field
Then in link page template create the html link:

– If so, can you tell me which template to edit and what I need to change it to?I understand that the edited template needs to be in a parallel directory in my theme folder, I just don’t know what file/template to edit or what to change it to.

Got the issue. I have tested it in Android Phone.
You are using google drive link to upload the files.
so the case in mobile is that, if google drive app is installed in phone, then the link is directly opening the drive app and file is being shown there. If google drive is not installed, it is being downloaded through browser.To avoid this situation, Please upload the files directly in download package through “Allega file” option on right side.

Just to clarify, it did work when the file was in a sub-folder of the download-manager-files folder. In fact the Bulk Import documentation says this:
files: Absolute file path from your server, if you keep the files in download-manager-files dir, use just file name…
This suggests that you can indeed use a different folder so long as you specify the path – right? And just to re-iterate, I did manage to sometimes link a file this way but not consistently.
It is very difficult to dump thousands of files in one folder and then find them via the web bulk upload — it is much better/easier to have them in a hierarchical structure.
It would also be better to be able to have a ‘category tree’ in the bulk uploader (like on the Add new package page) rather than search for it by name – can this be implemented?
Please can you provide some relevant answers/support on this and not just link to articles.
It is a good plugin but has some unfortunate quirks which make more difficult to use than it has to be.
