Topic: i can't add new package ?
hello sir .. i have a V.3 ,, now we have up from 600 packages . and over 4 millions downloads .
i can’t now create a new package .
also ..
i created a link template and execute it by SQL comment … but not apply OK .
may you tell me how i can fixed it .

Hi Shaon, I am as well having issues with the page templates, I don’t see any changes to the package page when changing the template, and there is no download button. Can you please share your findings. Thanks!

I like the new format with v4, but when I installed it according to your steps above the Packages don’t Publish correctly. Meaning when I publish it, and then try to view it, it takes me to my home page (http://thenetworksoul.com/music) and not the package page. P.S. The link works right now, because i downgraded back to v3. Package link: http://thenetworksoul.com/music/download/nsr-mixtape-vol1/
Also I’m using a WP Multisite.

@dru, put the code at the end of functions.php of you activate theme.
We use the email lock with information fields. Someone enters their information and then download link is sent to their email address. Can I get an email sent to me that says someone has downloaded something from my site? The email will tell me what was downloaded and information filled out by downloader.
I’m trying to use the bootstrap css too, where do I put the above code to get this working for me too?
@Jeaneve, in case of kathryn@kea-hr.co.uk, issue was causing by custom field add-on, as the add-on was not compatible with wpdm pro v4, and we disabled it, anyhow it is already compatible, so if you are still using old version the the add-on please download again to get the latest version.
sorry for the issue, we update the add-on but missed to update link in all add-on pack. anyhow you can download now.

it is because “Hide Everything” settings. its hiding complete package info but still showing the block, anyhow I applied hide download link option so that page shows regular, anyhow we upgraded the query to skip packages without access for “Hide Everything” settings, update coming within next few hours.

I had the same problem – but it really isn’t a problem. Just unzip the file you get by clicking that link – it is actually an archive of all 3 .zip files.
Unzip that file on your hard drive and you will see
download-manager-3.3.8.zip
download-manager-4.0.5.zip
wpdm-m24x.zipThen in WP admin select THAT download-manager-4.0.5.zip (the one inside the unzipped folder) as the plug in to install. Vioala. success.
I just got purchasing and I am not able to download all of the files associated with my order / account. For example, when I go to download protect hotlink plugin / addon, all I get is a file downloaded named “file-not-found.txt”.

See image below for point number 2 above. When i click the link to download the v4.0.5 file and the link to download the migration add-on i am getting the same file with the same name and size as shown in the attachment below.
Hi.
1. I downloaded and tried to install update files in my orders page but im getting errors on installation – no valid plugin found (see attachment below). I have read and i understand how to update from v3.3.8 im currently using.
2. I also noticed that the links to download the v4.0.5 file (Download Manager Pro v4.0.5 ) and the data migration tool (WPDM 3 to 4 Data Migration Add-on) are downloading the same file named Download-Manager-Pro-v4.0.5.zip. Does the data migration add-on have same file name and same size as the v4.0.5 file? Besides if i try to install this file im getting errors as shown below.Please help asap.
I know HOW TO UPDATE from v3.3.8 to v4.0.5. I am saying i don’t have the right files in my orders folders to do so. I tried to install what was there and i am getting errors – no valid plugin found. For your info the files in my orders tab under v4.0.5 and the WPDM 3 to 4 Data Migration Add-on are the same. In simple English i am getting one file from the download links in my orders page and when i try to install that file im getting errors – no valid plugin found.
Simple solution for me: Can you please re-send or re-upload the correct files to my orders page. I KNOW HOW TO INSTALL: DELETE OLD VERSION, INSTALL NEW VERSION (i don’t have this in my orders page) and INSTALL DATA TRANSFER ADD-ON (i don’t have this in my orders page). The attached file shows what i am getting when i click the green download word – im getting the same file and i get errors when i try to install the file.

you can create a link template using following code:
[download_link]<br/> [download_count] downloads
and apply the link template for your package.
also use the add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-image-button/ to show the download link with a nice image.
