the individual download will not work for link template when its password protected. but we have enabled the option already for next update which is coming within next next monday.

if you want link template like free version, you can get this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-button-templates/ , many color variation added there, anyhow if you want the add-on , I’ll create a link template for you. not a big deal 🙂

Hi,
I would like to display the name of the category which contains the package that is showing, right into the link template.

For example:

Title of package – Uploaded in: Title of Category – DownloadLink

Is this possible? The Expo theme has a “In”
But this returns nothing.

Is there a shortcode I can use?

Hi,

I bought Download Manager Pro and installed on my site.

1. Warning message:

I got this error on my site in Dashboard.
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in wp-content/plugins/download-manager/functions.php on line 3552

Could you suggest the solution?

2. It seems Linkedin share doesn’t work. I means when I click on it. Nothing happens. But Facebook and Twitter are working fine.

(It would be nice to be able to edit more in templates than only by short codes = future request)

This is news to me, that single files don’t register for stats, why may i ask?
I solved it by “hacking” some features with the download links.

Hello, I am having some problems in my current website

when I click the “view details” button sends me to this page.

http://www.mesoamericaregion.org/wpdmpro/wpdmpro/

at the same time I’m working on an update to my site, in this subdomain

new.mesoamericaregion.org

in this subdomain actualize the plugin to version 3.3.8 to the Version 4.0.6 (when I put the license tells me it is invalid)

but when I use a shortcode like this

[wpdm_category id = "audio," item_per_page = 2 template = "link-template-audio.php"]

or

[wpdm_category id = "downloads," item_per_page = 10 template = "5237a20bd7b80"]

Is there a way we can add a little ‘close’ button to the Subscribe to download pop-up which is displayed when a client clicks a link to download?
An example of what i mean can be found at http://showmyfps.com/ap/pressure-relief-vents/halocarbon-gas-vent/
As you can see once you click a download, you can not close the pop up and have to refresh the page to view the links behind it.

2. no option to bold it, but you can do it from css or user custom title

4. you need to create custom link template and apply it for the widget.
5. remove the_content filter add_filter("the_content","wpdm_package_review",99999999); form wpdm-user-reviews/wpdm-user-reviews.php and call the function “wpdm_package_review” in single.php after related download function.

anyone will able to download “test3” and only “MarksGarage” will able to download test2, I also tried it and got it working. on click shows one as you have access to one file only. No such option for now. But we are adding it soon.

please download image button add-ons again, looks like you are using old version.

There are some js error in “Custom Contact Forms” which causing the issue. need to fix in that plugin.

[wpdm-categories] simply will generate regular category links. It is not like archive page.

Download link doesn’t work with new uploaded pdf file, failed to open (1 byte)

I’m using WPDM Pro 4.0.6. I’ve created a custom link template using Downloads -> Templates and I can see that the template is being used in [WPDM-archive]. That’s all good.

However, I also want the link template to be used whenever packages are listed in other search results. This should be when using site search, tag cloud or using the category list. Whenever the download is displayed in those results some default WP template is used but I want the custom link to be used.

Can you please advise how I might achieve this?

in pro version there are extensive options for controlling templates, explained here http://newlook.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/link-template/ , or simply give me a tmeporary wp-admin login info in a private reply, i’ll make a template without download count for you.

yes, there are no option for tag archive, as it is actually theme part, you can use a theme from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/themes/ , in those theme pages are specially designed for wpdm.

And the Allow individual file download doesnt work, I get always only one link to a zip file contain all files.

I’ve created a custom link template using Downloads -> Templates editor. When I view lists of downloads in [wpdm-archive] they display correctly using the custom templates. I have the setting “Link Template for Archive Page” set to the new template. That’s all good.

However, when I view post listings that have been created using a tag cloud or site search or category list, the template is not applied. WP appears to be using a standard template in those cases. How can I configure it so that WP always uses the WPDM template assigned to the package.
