Hi, I have some problems with wp pro membership:
1.- I can not find .pot files for the translation, and I can not translate the plugin fields.
2.- I do not see how members can cancel their subscription.
3.- When a user subscribes but cancels the payment of the subscription on the paypal page, he remains subscribed to the page even though he does not have any level of membership, this is a problem for me, because although he does not have access to the download files, He has access to the website store.
4.- If I do a membership level without recurring payment, only with an initial payment, the level appears as free and if a user registers, when he redirects him to the paypal page, the following message appears: First invalid test period. You must specify valid values for parameters A1, P1, and T1 for a subscription.
5.- I would like to make a free membership level that lasts 2 day but I can not find a way to do it, because I do not see the expiration field of the subscription.
6.- Is there a possibility to manage a download from the mobile and download it later on the computer? a download link to the mail or something like that ??
7.- I see that there is a download history, but if a user downloads a previously downloaded file, this file counts as one more file of its quota, it is possible to make the previously downloaded files do not count as new download files?
8.- I have a quota of 4 files per month, but it lets me download 5 files and I do not know why, in the download bar it says: 125% downloaded (5 of 4)

The site is a resource for programmers. Only a very few people will be uploading code. The HTML code is for Webforms and the JS scripts are for GreaseMonkey browser scripts.
As some point it worked. I upgraded the free version to “Pro” in order to use the other features, like multiple-file uploads.
I don’t want to ‘pack’ the files into .zips because this adds an additional step for all the people downloading the code.
I can upload the files using ftp without a problem. My hosting company does not restrict that. When I link the uploaded files and try to download, I get: Invalid File Type (.js)!I fully understand the security risks and want this capability to work.

Just got pro and was loving it until I started to migrate from my old download manager. I tried testing a download VS my old manager and am having a few issues.
First off, the speed is way slower than what my old plugin is able to provide. Both plugins use the same source file. Download Manager Pro is able to download at about 8MB/s. My old download manager plugin will download at 20MB/s (My max speed). I have already increased the download speed setting to a higher value. Don’t know what gives there.
The 2nd issue is that if a download is larger, or there are multiple downloads going at once they will fail with a “Network Error”. I was testing download the file below from multiple computers at the same time and they ended up failing. If only one downloads at a time it is able to finish. This is a problem for me seeing as it’s likely for more than 1 people to be downloading a file from me at a time.
I have already increased my max PHP execution time form 30 to 300. (PHP info found here: https://www.tophattwaffle.com/info.php)
I’ve seen here that the response from support seems to be “It’s your server, not the plugin” Then they suggest using AWS and another plugin. I don’t not want to go this route as what I had before worked, it was just not as nice to use.

This is easily testable if you just attempt to download the file a few times, they will start to fail as shown in the attached picture.

You can use following code in your custom template to link thumb image to the download url.

1. No, the form lock won’t start the subscription system like us. For starting the subscription we offer different addon. The form lock just collects the emails and send the download link to that email.

I’m using Download Manager for two category of people.
Some are “suscribers” in WordPress, others “contributors”Actually. If I am suscriber I have both access to all folder also those which are only allowed to contributors !!!!
I don’t understand what to do. And it’s a big problem in project with my customer

You can create temporary download link from all downloads page and share the link with your customers.

Topic: Need Help fixing some errors
Hi, your plugin is pretty good, but I found two errors.
1) In this page http://www.larchebologna.it/arcobaleno-intranet/ when I try to fill in fields the page redirects to https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_login_form-user-login-form-short-code/, the same occours when i click on forgot password link
2) I’ve translated in italian some fields using loco translator plugin, but after the last update it come back in english, for example “title, Categories, Creation Date, ecc.” in the table at the bottom of the page

When you enable the lock option, the download buttons hide. Cause that is the real download link to the file.

I need to open MUST AGREE Box and Form Lock with a Contact form 7 AFTER the user click on DOWNLOAD LINK.
The sequence that I need is:
1. User choose to see a download package details
2. WSDM opens the package and show download package details
3. User click download link
4. Then, and just then, Form Lock/Contact form 7 box opens with MUST AGREE box
5. User fulfill contact form 7 and clicks on AGREE box
6. WPDM sends to user a email with the link to download the package.I tried all options and always Form Lock/Contact form 7/agree box comes first of click to download

Custom templates that you create using our Template editor are stored in the database. Using Bootstrap in the template is your choice. If you don’t want to use Bootstrap, that’s okay too.
You can also use a file to add custom templates. In that case template files will be stored in
/your-theme/download-manager/link-templatesor/your-theme/download-manager/page-templatesdir based on template type. Just add the template info above the file<!-- WPDM Link Template: Custom Template from File -->You can use template tags in link/page template file to show package data. List of template tags.

Topic: Shortcodes Not Working
I’m having some trouble with the shortcodes. I’m trying to test out the different link template and display all downloads within specific categories. I’m using this shortcode:

Download works when you use the package download link, not the single file download button. I know it is not the solution, just pointing the origin of the issue.

From Membership Settings Advanced page enable the Show WPDM package info option. That will block the download link only.
