Go to Downloads Templates page and clone the link template you are using now. Then remove the [download_count] tag from there and save it. Use your new custom template with shortcode.

    Hi,

Another one from my post in the free forum

Using the categories shortcode to display downloads. However I’ve been trying to order by date and I can’t get it to work. I have tried date, publish_date and create_date and I can’t seem to get it to order by.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    [wpdm-all-packages categories="updates," items_per_page=30 order_by="date" order="desc" jstable=1 cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|publish_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Date|Download"]

    Hi guys,

Have an issue with WPDM and Dropbox links. Getting a 401 error after a certain number of hours. The issue below is what I’m having. I purchased Pro just to see if there were any solutions to it.

    WPDM & Dropbox 401 errors

I’m currently on Download Manager Pro 4.7.8 and Dropbox Explorer 1.2.2

I have updated the custom link template code to add page link and custom font CSS. Please check the custom link template doc here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/creating-a-new-template/ The doc explains how you can work with custom templates.

Edited the category widget file to add custom bg in the current category.

The page title is controlled from your theme. WPDM can’t control that feature.

Your key is linked to postpartumprogress.org Do you want me to unlock it from there?

If you are having the license issue in this site, please install the latest version of Download Manager. That should fix it.

    I used shotcode to show the Plan Table: [wppm_membership_plans cols=3 desc=1 featured=3]

But I did not understand how to choose and I can configure the style (in shortcode). I see this link (https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/addons/membership-plans/) that has several styles available.

    1) I need when the member exceeds the download limit of his plan, he sees a ‘personalized’ message replacing the ‘Download’ button. Can this custom message contain basic HTML (example: bold, italic, link, icons and images)?

    2) How do I set the time that a Package already downloaded by the Member remains available in your Dashboard Membership?

Shahriar, I understand you. But all I need is to implement the “Partial Content Access” feature as advertised on this link (https: / / /www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wp-pro-membership/).

I just installed SWPM because I have not yet discovered part of the content with the “WordPress PRO Membership” add-on.

Help me please. How can I hide a part of a text using WordPress PRO Membership.

    Hi,

Looks like you are using the Sidebar view now.

However, the issue was related to the version of WPDM you are using there. The free version doesn’t have the Panel 1/3 link template. That’s why it was using the default link template.

You need PRO to use the Panel 1/3 Or have to create a custom link template file and place it in /active-theme/download-manager/link-templates/ directory. You can copy the Panel 1/3 template here https://www.dropbox.com/s/xssbs4yy4nfrasu/link-template-panel-1-3.php?dl=0

    Thanks.

On our main site we list products, click on a link and it goes to product page. Click download, pop up w/terms comes up, you accept and download starts no issue.

On another domain, if we link directly to product page the download will not happen. Is this a http referrer issue? Is it restricted to same domain? Please advise asap – live production environment.

Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply to check the link template issue. The accordion shortcode uses the template parameter to set link template. Maybe you are using link_template instead.

In each update, we adding new features or improving old ones. So, it is not unusual to see some changes here and there. But that doesn’t affect the plugin feature. Download and other major stuff should work fine without any issue.

If you want to change the colors I can suggest custom CSS. Let me know which colors you want to update.

We made some modification in the demo version of the Crypton theme. I have installed the demo version on your site. Sending the download link in private reply in case you need a fresh copy in the future.

Hello, I bought the Pro version for a portal/intranet I am creating.

I successfully activated my license/installed. I uploaded 4 different packages – all set to “publicly view”

I used the following short codes on a page I created:
    [wpdm_frontend]

    [wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" categories="slug1,slug2,..." jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]

When I went to the page on a user account, it lists no files are available to download.
Why would the files not show?
    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks

You are right about the pagination issue that minimizes the number of packages per page due to the access limits. We will check the issue in next release of Archive Page add-on. For now, you can just set the option to Hide only download link if you think the pagination is confusing for users.

The div will be added automatically when using a template. You can generate a download URL from all downloads page then add that link with package title in this case. It will keep the link in the same line.

But it is too complicated for customer. There should be direct download links after returning from successful payment. After clicking on guest download page, customer still have to enter email address and order ID to access the downloadable files….

On the other hand, there seems to be no way for customer to download files directly from email. I think you guys should seriously consider improving this process. Guest or registered, user should have instant access to the files he/she paid for.

Please guide me if there is any way around.

    Thanks.

The customer doesn’t have to create an account if you enable guest download. If you have to create a page with [wpdmpp_guest_orders] shortcode to serve guest download. Then set this page as Guest Order Page in Premium Package settings.

The customer will see a guest order page link under the login form. So, both options are open. He/she can either log in or go to the guest order page for instant download.

    Hi,

I am using guest checkout method. But for some reasons the 2CO is not redirecting the user back to “guest download” page. Instead, it is redirecting the user to “Purchases” page. And yes, i have inserted the return URL in 2CO settings. Please check the screenshots. I have tried the both “header redirect” and “Given links back to my website” method and both are redirecting the user back to “Purchases” page.

Moreover, there is an error with “Test” sale setting. I have selected the “Perameter” option in 2CO settings and have set the plugin to “Test” mode but upon placing a demo sale, it shows the error code…. Please check the screenshot.

Please check this out and provide a solution.

    Thanks.

    My current setup:
    1. WP Download Manager FREE Version + Lazy Download Addon Enabled.
    2. Created a dummy page to display ADS and CountDown.

    Problem :
When the addon is enabled and the download link is clicked, In Mobile app which is build recently for my website, it downloads the wrong package than intended. This only happens when the lazy download addon is enabled. And it works fine in other browsers example chrome. In Mobile app, wrong file is getting downloaded. I’ve attached the app below:

After installing open the app and In the menu, subject notes > click on any subject > click on download link > download button > File is getting downloaded(but wrong file)

Can anyone help with this, please? Thank you!
