Is that something worth thinking for a future release as an option? Prev/Next Download link “On or off?”
Cheers,
Richard
Hello,
You can change
“pdf Logo + “Download”
in the Link label from your package settings.
I did think that, but they only appear on the pages with the download manager links -ie there are pages & blog posts in another section, and they don’t have them…
I figured it was part of the actual download manager theme design…
Cheers,
Richard
Hi,
Link and Page templates are stored in database wp_optionstable as _fm_link_templates and _fm_page_templates.
You can create template files for your custom link/page templates. You have to put the files in /active-theme/download-manager/tpls/page-templates/ and /active-theme/download-manager/tpls/link-templates/ directory. The file name will be the same as the template id, i.e. 5aafb49c1b7c2.php. and also check any existing template file from /download-manager/tpls/link-templates/ directory for naming convention.
Thanks.
Hi Guys,
Curious one – not sure if it’s something to do with the plug in (free vs paid) – when people view a file to download, at the bottom there’s links to previous and next file download pages – is there a way to remove that?
Is it a premium feature?

Clicking on either of these takes you to the next file or previous file to download…
I just want these links gone…
Help!
Cheers,
Richard
I already checked. In fact, I have written “the sample.csv does not include Tags”. The link you posted does not talk about tags.
Another problems:
– description includes commas inside, so the csv does not upload properly
– link template is a custom template, I don’t see it in the wp-content/plugins/download-manager/tpls/link-templates directory in order to set it
– also page template is a custom template, I don’t see it in the directory
Can you suggest the solution in order to process correctly the csv?
Show ‘Add To Cart’ button as customer download link fallback stands for [customer_download_link] template tag. It will show the download button, otherwise will show add to cart button if you check the option,
Hi Nayeem
Thanks for that. I think the CSS was added on previous ticket to the WPDM team. So one of the pages now seems fine, but I was just trying to figure out why…
madetomeasurekpis.com/download/kpi-checklists-book-downloads-page/
…still has an ‘invisible’ zip download button at the bottom of the page – it uses the same link and page template as…
madetomeasurekpis.com/download/kpi-checklists-audiobook-downloads
…the page that now works
Any ideas would be appreciated. I think I have cleared the cache on the problem page.
Also, but not essential, I originally had the zip download as a big green button – any advice on how to recreate this?
Also, if you want to remove ZIP download ( full package downlaod ) button, you simply need to remove [download_link] tag from the page template.

Hi
I also having a problem on this link
The zip download button is there, but it’s so pale it looks like it is missing. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks
Perhaps it is the links I’m including. Here is the response without the links..
Hi Nayeem
There seem to be two issues. Firstly, when you click on the green package download icon on this page…
the link from above ending download/kpi-checklists-audio-book-download
It takes me to an individual files download page, not a zip file – it was not doing this previously.
Secondly, this page … the link from above ending kpi-checklists-audiobook-downloads
… is not offering a zip bundle download at all, which it is set to do.
Thanks for your help!
Hi WPDM,
What do these global options in Premium Package mean please?
Show ‘Add To Cart’ button as customer download link fallback
Where will it show ‘Add to Cart’ button? On the download post? In the customer’s dashboard? What are the fallback conditions?
Auto renew order on expiration
Does this mean it will automatically renew as though there was no expiration date? Or does it mean that the customer will get an email when it expired?
Thanks,
Mike
So, you want a shortcode for post or page showing individual download links for those four files?
No special action is required, any link template will do that. Doc:
Templates Overview
Here is a demo:

Hello,
You can follow this doc as per given instruction, you will be able to make a direct download link. and let me know if it fixes your issue.
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_direct_link-embed-direct-download-link-as-a-simple-text-link/
Thanks.
We are trying to use the List Package layout for our files, but our layout is getting messed up like which you can see at : http://sgpholding.com/financial-documents/
The shortcode we used were:
[wpdm_category id="finance" operator="IN" title="Financial Documents" desc="Essential Documents for Business" toolbar="1" paging="1" order_by="field name" order="asc or desc" items_per_page="10" template="5d84e6a49e7dc" cols=3 colspad=2 colsphone=1 download_link=1]
It was running fine, until we updated the plugins, could you help resolve this issue?
Lets say I have a package named “Example Package” that has 4 files in it. Is it possible to link directly to a file. Like I have a page that file 3 in Example Package is what I would like them to be able to click on the page and download. Is that possible and how can I do it.
I’ve tried grabbing the link to the file from the package, but it just redirects to the package when I click it.

Just implemented this plugin. Unable to download a file. Error returned is “Invalid download link”.
Hi,
We have a client who uses Download Manager Pro who have a download package that has the password lock set on it. The download works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox but doesn’t work in Internet Explorer 11.
The download is protected by setting password lock on it using “Enable Password Lock” in the “Lock Options” tab. There is a password set and PW usage limit is set to 0.
The download is added to a page with the shortcode:
[wpdm_package id=11111 template="link-template-calltoaction3.php"]
In the browsers it works in the Download button is active (on this site Dark Blue) but in IE11 it is Grey. Clicking on it in other browsers brings up the pop up to enter the password. Clicking on it in IE11 doesn’t do anything.
Loading the page in IE with the console open gives an error in the console SCRIPT1006: Expected ‘)’ front.js (100,36)
/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/assets/js/front.js?ver=5.3.1
I’ve tried disabling all non-essential plugins, switching to standard WordPress themes and changing the WPDM template used but none of these fix the issue. We’ve also tried different versions of the plugin (4.9.7, 4.9.8, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, 5.0.3, 5.0.4 and 5.0.5).
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
Hello,
You can try
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="20" jstable=0 cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|publish_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download"]
Thanks.
Hi,
I’m using this shortcode:
[wpdm-all-packages page_link="0"]
I don’t want the title to link, only direct download with the button.
But the page_link=”0″ is not working. What am I doing wrong?

I have the page template set to preview the document, but all the pages show up as “Whoops! There was a problem previewing this document.” and then give some apps to try opening the file with but none of them work either. This is on any browser I’ve tried. The download link works just fine.
