Also my customer wants the download link to open in a NEW BROWSER window. Unfortunately I can’t do it despite your instructions and need support
What I’ve tried:
Copied those files:
– link-template-default.php
– link-template-button.phpinto the following directory:
– DIVI
– download manager
– tpls
– link-templatesand replaced [download_link] with [link_label].
Nothing happened…

I will explain my situation.I am developing a subscription-based website where a different download limit will be defined per level of access.
So far so good ..
The problem happens when the user clicks on the “Edit Online” option, it happens that the user has access to the link but does not count the download.
And all files on my site must have these two options Download or Edit Online.
When the user clicks on the download option it is counting .. in “Edit Online” no.
what to do?
Each item listed in download history links to the same sales page.
It’s a useless link if we purchased (or did not purchase) the product.These should link to the specific version downloaded on the date shown.
The page should provide users a history of downloaded versions for any user purpose.
The links should allow user to download and roll-back to an earlier version.

Your problem has been fixed. It was creating the issue with
Private Download Link Usage Limit, somehow it has been set to0.
I have adjusted it. Now it is working.

Those costings are all set for each package – and I have changed to put base price in the Price column but it still says £00 on the download button

ok, it turns out that when i put the limit and the person uses it for external link it doesn’t count in the download limit.

Hi,
When you have a multi-file package, and a user downloads the package, as you know it creates a zip from the attached files and downloads it. If you have “cache zip” option enabled, when another user downloads the same package, it serves the zipped file created earlier. But if you have the option disabled, every time a user clicks on the download link, it creates the zip again from the attached files, which is required when you attach dir with a package and upload files to that dir using FTP.
However, the option enabled or disabled, it doesn’t delete the created zip, only updating the package will delete the zip.In reply to: Need assistance in configuring plugin

You’re trying the direct download link – which is not what users see.

You will see I have an “email lock” on Word & Excel download – they are not working.
When user clicks on them it adds #unlock in the URL and nothing happens.
Please note: there is no email lock on PDF download, which is working fine.So, it is a problem with “email lock” functionality with download.
Please check again!

I posted this and started to get an answer but have not heard back so here goes again. I have set up a download of a pdf and it works fine as long as I do not turn on Enable Password Lock. With this enabled, the download button appears when the correct password is entered but when the user clicks on the download button all they get is “Invalid Download Link.” The passwords are entered correctly with the brackets ([ ]). What could be the problem?
