Everything shows up verry vell on the website. When I would like to dowload one file, there always come the page “Secure connection failed”. The hole site has an SSL-Certificate which works perfect. What to do?

Thank you for adding the new option to duplicate downloads in 5.3.4.
By default users with the role of Editor are unable to see the Duplicate link for each Download in the ‘All Packages’ list. Is there a way to turn this on for Editors?

Hopefully this is a quick win – it would be very helpful to see the permalink for each download in the all packages view because we have multiple staff uploading files and consistency of naming is very important. Could you add a screen option to display the permalink slug (i.e. for Permalink: https://greenfins.net/material/gf_all_por_usedoil_a4/ the column would display gf_all_por_usedoil_a4
Hope this makes sense and can be included in the next update!

2 months of going around in circles and constantly having to follow up for a reply — I have managed to trouble shoot and fix the issue myself. The code we used to fix the issue for anyone with the same problem:

Right now I have a template that when you click a link it tries to download the PDF.
What I want it to do is open a new tab or window and show the pdf.Can some tell me what I need to do to change the code for this.

But the featured image does not appear too.
My customers are able to add items to the cart, check out using Stripe, and after checkout, they are redirected to the “all orders” page. From there, they can click the linked order number or the “order details” button, both of which link to the order details page where the package should be available for download.
The problem is that the order details page shows nothing about the item(s) ordered, all dollar totals are $0.00, and there is no file to download. Instead, there’s the text “If you still want to complete this order” and a big “Pay Now” button. My customers are paying for items and are not able to download their items.
They are also receiving an email with order details and a link to the order details page but the link points to the same page, where nothing is available.

Using the following shortcode:

On both the Profile and Download History menus, the links look like this:

Resulting in a 404 error.
On My Downloads, they look like this:
https://thecountycut.com/download/tuolumne-documents-20210315-2/
Which works as expected. Please advise how this can be fixed.

Do you want to show the attached file names? for editing link-template, you can check doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/template-tags/

Not exactly sure, your APP needs to be able to handle the WordPress login system properly with proper cookie support. Otherwise, the download will not work, as if wpdm can’t detect the logged-in user ( using WordPress’s native functions ), the download link will not work.

We have downloaded and updated the plugin. When we ask for password reset now we do get a link on the email but it does not work, doesn’t do anything when clicked.
Hello, I’m not to familiar with the settings of this plugin, but basically a client has spotted when she adds a new package item which will be available to download, it will send an automatic tweet.
I have taken a look at the social settings and the Twitter API hasn’t even been set up, but has been for Facebook & LinkedIn.
Is something else causing this to happen? Could do with some clarity on this please.

you can follow the link below documentation,
by default, you are usinglink-template-default.phpfor link template andpage-template-default.phpfor the page template. As documentation, you have to copy the file in the theme directory naming a folder called download-manager, then paste it intpls>page-templatesfor page template ortpls>link-templatesfor link template. And you have to replace[download_link]with<a href="[download_url]" class="btn btn-primary" target=_blank>[link_label]</a>in related php file.Thanks.
