Hi,
This is a fantastic plugin. Thank you for making this for all of us.
I have searched this question on this FAQ pages, so far I couldn’t find one. But if this question exists, please accept my apology.
Is it possible to make all downloads available to Guest? So they don’t need to login or register to download the files.
Thank you so much in advance.
Regards,
Bianev

And another way for making disallow Crawling Download Manager Pages on Google, Bing + search engines is, Add the following code at the end of your active theme’s functions.php

Hello,
Our CEO was wondering why downloads were not included in the WordPress search. I checked and saw that the “Eclude from search” option was not activated. So the downloads should actually be listed. Is this a bug with the current WordPress version 6.6.1 or what are we doing wrong?
Kind regards
Lucas
Hi
# Issue 1: I have implemented BOX.COM on my Download Manager plugin, and it is working fine. However, I want the file to be downloaded directly from my website. Currently, it redirects me to BOX.COM, where I can then download the file. Instead, I want the file to download directly from the website, like the other downloads I have added through the dashboard.
# Issue 2: I want all files from a specific folder on BOX.COM to be automatically listed on my website whenever I upload a file to that folder.
Hello,
I’m using list all downloads in tabular format and create (published) date column not working. It display only update date. I’m using following shortcode:
[wpdm-all-packages categories="xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx," items_per_page=20 template="osnovni"cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|publish_date|download_link" colheads="Naziv dokumenta|Kategorije|Datum nastanka|Preuzimanje::155px"]
Any help?
Thanks

Hi,
I am currently exploring all the options of WP Download Manager to achieve my goals
First, I need to include only a download link in my CF7 form customer mail message body
Please note: the download should generate once only after successful form submission, mustn’t allow multiple downloads, and no public view of the download item.
Second, I tried testing this Enable Form Lock with a Test item, In the download page it is not working as expected just loading endlessly
Please share the solutions with step by step approach for the both at your earliest convenience
FYR website: https://ritesoftware.com
Test download item link: https://ritesoftware.com/download/test-file/
For #1, For Link template applying to all documents/packages you may check this add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/
For #2, Please kindly check now, I have adjusted Allowed file types to upload
settings from Downloads > Settings
For the third query please kindly check the shortcodes from here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/. Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and regards

Hi,
I am looking to find a way to automate exporting of the downloads reports from two categories. Currently i use the filter & export filtered view, is there any way to automatically scheduled them? i.e. every week or so… I am looking to use POWERBI for the reporting so that would save me a lot of time.
Hello, Liyu

Nayeem,
Thank you for the quick response!
I did watched the video and check all the documentation, but I still can’t fix.
Here is the problem I have:
When I first download Download Manager, I used the free version, didn’t do any configuration, then download the addon to transfer files from WP-Filebase, the file link template was set to Panel, then I go to Settings – Frontend access, set the file template to Call to action 3, and saved.
But this setting didn’t change the template on the front end, you can see only the file that I manually set to Call to Action 3 template display the right format from this page: https://www.linortek.com/downloads/documentations/
Hello, Shreek
I hope you are doing well and sorry for inconvenience.
To solve the issue,
1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.
To enable the auto-update, login to your WPDM account from the Downloads > Settings > License tab. If login is successful and you have an active subscription then you can update the future releases right from your plugins page.
Let me know if the problem persists.

Hello Simo Peltonen,
Hope you are well. Thanks for writing to us.
For updating the WPDM PRO plugin, Please simply click the Save Settings again for the license key option from Downloads > Settings > License
, and then please update the plugin from the wp-admin > plugins
panel.
For saving settings again for the license key option from Downloads -> Settings -> License
, that will regenerate the access token. Thus the plugin will be updated,
For updating WPDM add-ons, please download your plugin from here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases,
And update manually from the wp-admin dashboard Plugins > Add New
option. I hope, thus it will resolve your issue. For the Download > Settings > Updates
option will may not work properly for some server settings. please check and let me know, if you have any queries.
Thank you and regards
Hello,
I have updated the WPDM Archive Page Plugin to the latest version and it unexpectedly changed its behaviour.
Previously (Version 4.4.6), all downloads would be visible (from all subcategories) until the user clicked on a specific category, which then would filter the downloads down to the selected category. This is exactly what I am looking for.
Now (Version 4.5.1) when I open up the archive, there are no downloads visible until I select a specific category, which then displays the downloads from the selected category.
This is the shortcode I am using for the archive page (this one gave me the result I described under “previously”).
[wpdm_archive button_style="default" items_per_page="10" order_by="title" order="asc" include_children=1 login=1]
How can I achieve to go back to the previous filter behaviour? I did try changing a few things about the shortcode to see if I could get back to the previous behaviour, but unfortunately I wasn’t successful, so I need to ask for your help.
I can set up a test system or provide screenshots if needed.
Best regards and many thanks in advance,
Christoph
I’ve found the bug in the code and proposed a fix for it. See this thread:
