Hello, I have a website with two administrator. The first admin is a super admin, the second admin is not (the second admin’s only restriction is not being able to see plugin page).
So the 1st admin get to install wpdm pro, and its working fine in his dashboard. But it doesnt work the same way for 2nd admin. Every submenu for wpdm pro in 2nd admin dashboard crashes, like a broken html. I can’t edit template, icons for downloads crashed, everything seemed out of its place.
Please take a look at the screenshots I took
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1f1-l8XJ2RgkruoUtls-UsFEQH291IGfw?usp=sharing
We have reinstall it once, but it didnt work. Should we reinstall it? any other solution?

Thanks for your input Xavier, it is difficult to get across what I was talking about, I did provide a link for explanation. Your links are really good also. Thanks also for the suggestion, the problem I have is that my downloads are digital zip files to be used with a software application, so I didn’t know if “software application” would work, or if there was something more in line with the way download manager was coded that would offer a better schema. Unfortunately Nayeem seemed to think I was asking generally about SEO, which isn’t the case, although schema will play a more important role with SEO going forward.
Nayeem, a theme may offer a basic schema layout, thanks, but it was something more specific to download manager I was wanting the information for. WPDM has it’s own fields which could potentially be used in a schema set up, things like author/download count/images etc. There is a schema for dataset for example, which may be ideal for WPDM, or others like book, video etc as Xavier mentioned if that’s what people are offering as downloads.
Going forward, WPDM would offer a big advantage to your customers if schema options were integrated or customisable as part of WPDM. The internet is in need of organising data for search, and with WPDM offering people a way to add large lists of download items, seems pretty essential to look at this for the future.
It would not only help me, but all your customers to read up on what it is, and how it helps. Xavier has a point about reading up on things before answering, I know it’s a lot to keep on top of support requests, but giving information that isn’t relevant back, is just going to delay a request, and frustrate the customer.
Hi @kd7sys,
Hope you are well.
You are updating the WPDM Pro after a long time. So, simply visiting the link and page template menu on the admin dashboard will resolve the issue. As the action will regenerate the templates automatically in the new style.
Go to Downloads>templates then visit all tabs there.
I hope it will work fine then. If it doesn’t work, please, provide us with your temporary wp-admin login details and site URL in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.
Thank You
Hello @ignitioncreative,
Hope you are well. can you please use publish_date instead of upload_date, please check the valid Data Field Names from here from this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/
[wpdm_all_packages login=1 thumb=1 items_per_page="20" jstable=1 order_by="date" order="ASC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|publish_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Publish Date|Download::155px"]
Thank you and regards
Hi all,
First of all, great job and great plugin !
Everything work like a charm, except the statistics part.
When I go in the list of files, download counters work well.
However, when I go in the statistics they stay empty with the message “No downloads found” and I can’t pick a date in the calendar, from field and to field are both stuck on date of the day.
I tried to force the filter with this Url :
edit.php?post_type=wpdmpro&page=wpdm-stats&type=history&filter=1&from_date=2021-08-30&to_date=2021-08-31
But statistics are still empty.
Do I miss something ?

Hello,
I suggest you visit the links and then make PDF of those using the ctrl+p button while on the page on browser. Then you can upload the pdf files as downloads.
or another suggestion you can copy/paste links in .txt file and then make those as downloadable files.
Then you can show like a list using this shortcode
If you just want to make link, it doesn’t need wpdm. you can make a html button and link there.
Thanks
Hi Nayeem, 4 months later this issue has happened again. https://verbrec.com/investor-centre/asx-announcements/
Nothing has changed on the site, apart from required updates.
The code we are using to display is: [wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="8" categories="2018-asx-announcements, 2019-asx-announcements, 2020-asx-announcements, 2021-asx-announcements" jstable=1 order_by="date" order="DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|upload_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Upload Date|Download::155px"]
We need to order our downloads by UPLOAD DATE.
If you could please advise of the best course of action it would be appreciated.
Hi!
I am struggeling with the [wpdm_category] shortcode.
This is my shortcode:
[wpdm_category id="basisvertrag" title="1" desc="1" cols="1" toolbar="1" order="desc" order_by="date" item_per_page="100" template="link-template-calltoaction3.php"]
What I am expecting from this shortcode is that it (according to https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_category-query-all-downloads-from-one-or-more-categories/) shows title and description of the category “basisvertrag” above the download list. But what this shortcode does instead is to simply show the letter 1 as title and also as description. Just like a custom text. I tried ith with and without quotation marks, but it doesn’t make any difference.
I hope you can help! Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
Chris
Edit: I am using WP 5.8 and Download Manager 3.2.15

Hi
I have purchased (Download pro 5) License Key 02773-37318-75320-97847, Order# WPDM5EC7E4269E6E9
WPDM Directory Add-on (Archive Manager) Pro License Order ID# WPDM5EC66DCF8809B
WPDM Accordion Pro License Order ID# WPDM5EC66DCF8809B
However, none of them register on my site. It says I do not have Pro
The Plugins page says I am running the most up to date version of them all, but when people try and download anything it says there is no Pro version
I keep trying to update Download manager in but Downloads / settings / update
But WPDM Directory Add-on ( wpdm-archive-page.zip ) just keeps saying “Please Wait” for hours
WPDM Accordion ( wpdm-accordion.zip ) says “expired”, and when I try and install it, it just says “Order does not belong to you!” on your website, and will not let me install the new purchase!
There is no-where to enter the Pro license key and put Pro in.
I had to get someone else to code the link templates, and the page templates and I am scared that if I uninstall and reinstall it, I will lose the templates, and I don’t know how to reinstall them.
Please can you help?

Hello @sandor-nemethgmail-com,
You can use the below shortcode then.
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_tag-query-all-downloads-from-specified-tags/
However, please open a separate ticket in the future to track and give you a better solution to your problem ASAP.
Thank You.
Hi @wpdj30,
Hope you are well.
First of all, make sure that the template is located under Dashbaord>Downloads>Templates and you have selected the corresponding template in the Elementor block.
If, still the problem exists then visit Dashboard>Downloads>Templates>Link & Page template tabs.
Hopefully, your problem will be solved.
Thank You
Hello WPDM,
Thank you for all you do. People don’t say it enough. Your work is valuable to us all!
Regarding accordion addon…
GOAL:
1 – Display packages belonging to several categories.
2 – Package titles display as accordion bar.
3 – Click open title bar to expand accordion.
4 – Expanded accordion displays entire package (description, single file downloads & buttons, Download All button, package size).
ISSUE:
#4 is only displaying the the Download All button with the link template. If I use Metro link template, the details button opens in the same window. I’d rather show all details right away. How can this be done?
I looked at the other 9 free templates, but to download each without an example is very time consuming.
Please help, and thank you in advance.

Here is the Category shortcode. You will find other shortcodes here.
But as you are using TinyMCE add-on for now just change the item_per_page to items_per_page. Our developer team working on it, soon this little problem will ne solved.
Thanks

For at least the last week I’ve bene unable to attach any dropbox files to my downloads. I have the necessary paid plugin and it has always worked without issue. Now when I try to create a new download I can go through all the steps to attach the DB file but nothing every actually attaches.
I tried disabling all plugins but the ones for download manager to rule out a conflict but the files just won’t attach.
Hi @thehawkman,
You can select a specific category for all the similar topic files, then use this shortcode and add that category slug on the shortcode. You can add those names in the title. I think, it will look like what are you looking for.
Thank you
Let’s say I have a file with multiple versions. Take this one for instance. http://multicommander.com/downloads
It has a 64 bit installer, a 32 bit installer, then two portable versions of the installers. So that means 4 different files, with potentially different file sizes. Is it possible to set a different title for each download button linking to each file? As in have the button linking to the 32 bit portable version be called as such? Or do I need to create four individual packages for each of the version mentioned above? Since each file will have its own size, I would probably be forced to create separate entries, unless there is a way to list multiple file sizes on a single package?
I have checked all of my plugins. No conflict to be found.
I’m not sure what you checked when you were in my site – but it’s the template that isn’t working. I created a new template without the download_link_extended and I can get that one to work in preview as well as on my live site after clearing the cache. It must’ve happened with the new update to 6.0.6? I didn’t have this problem until then.
Here’s the problem – I do NOT want to switch my template for all 250 downloads. What can we do to fix this?
Allright, the “Use Global” setting works! Thanks!
One more thing: I noticed that the Progress bar is missing from the Waiting Page (https://clearskies.eu/csog/downloads/downloading/) is missing.
You can reproduce the issue by yourself by clicking any of the download buttons on the page I provided the link to. The same goes for any other download page and buttons. I will not make a screen recording of something you can do yourself by means of a single mouse click.
Here is the link to a package (the top one, nr. 33 on the page I linked to): https://clearskies.eu/csog-downloads/dsf-ootw-21-33download/
The lazy download plugin should lead to this waiting page: https://clearskies.eu/csog/downloads/downloading/
Instead, the download starts immediately. Has something perhaps changed in the required shortcode that is required on the waiting page?
As stated, all was well until I updated WPDM.
