For only 67 packages there shouldn’t be any such issue, even not for 670, but could be for 6700 if your server can’t handle loading all together.

When we enable the Gutenberg editor in WPDM settings on one of our sites the downloads break – when I try to edit them all posts require re-publishing and when I try to publish I get the error “Publishing failed. Invalid parameter(s): status”.
I’ve identified that it is a plugin conflict with the Toolset Types plugin – when I disable that the conflict goes away. When using WPDM in the old editor everything works fine.
Any ideas?

Hello. I want to show the link with “all-downloads” as the website homepage.
When I enter the main page https://pnghit.com, the “all-downloads” page above should be displayed.
but provided that the home page link remains unchanged. So it will remain as https://pnghit.com, the page displayed is https://pnghit.com/all-downloadshttps://pnghit.com/all-downloads I want it to appear as home page. I would be glad if you help.

I preformed all steps to troubleshoot, the issue persists with all plugins except Downloads disabled, and with Twenty-Two enabled. Cache cleared after each. Sending you login privately.
I’m getting a critical error with Download Manager 6.2.9 and PHP 8.0. If I downgrade my PHP to 7.4, the critical error stops and the site is accessible again. Does Download Manager not support PHP 8.0 yet?
I currently have “Missing a required plugin! Please install/activate WordPress Download Manager to use WPDM – Premium Packages plugin” on my site which is running Version 5.3.5 of Download Manager and the site is on PHP 8.0. The issue that prompted a look into all of this is the Package Settings are gone from my downloads thus prompting the upgrade to Download Manager 6.2.9.
Please help.

since yesterday we are having the same issue [ Invalid File Type (*.|=|)! ] when trying to download zip files, but we can not solve it with the here mentioned work around.
Allowed file types to upload are currently set to ‘jar,exe,zip,pdf’ which always worked perfectly.
Since yesterday the download of zip files doesn’t work anymore and triggers the mentioned error message.
Downloads of jar files are working as expected.We already tried:
* setting allowed file types to ‘*’ or to ‘All’ > no success, same error
* deleting the zip file from server, re-uploading it and re-attaching it from server > no success, same error
* renaming the file to have no special characters > no success, same error
* adding another zip file to the package > no success, same error
* deactivating the email lock function > no success, same error
* deleting the complete download package and setting it up from scratch > no success, same errorPlease note that the current setup has worked flawlessly in this form for many month/years.
Download .jar files is still working as expected.
Download .zip files all of a sudden generate the above mentioned error message.
No changes were made to the setup from our side.
We are using the Pro version 6.2.9 with E-Mail-Lock activated.We are really at a loss and please urge timely support.

I have found that no files are attached in the download packages.
You can check those fromDownloads > All Packagesif you find no files, please attach files from there.
Also found that you are using old version of wpdm pro. That is not recommended. If possible please update it to the latest version 6.2.9Regards

We have the plugin already installed and PDF Stamper settings set. However, the watermarks doesn’t get applied to our PDF downloads.

Hello. Thank you for responding.
I did not place any restrictions on my download other than assigning a password that the user must enter to access all of my downloads. But, as I stated, 2 of my downloads are not displaying the “download” button, meaning that my visitors will not know where to click to access these 2 specific downloads.
I do not wish to provide my URL to my download nor allow temporary access to my dashboard because of a dishonest experience I had with another person hijacking my information on a different platform after I gave them access to my dashboard….very unfortunate situation because now I do not trust anyone being given access to my dashboard.
My questions about the 2 files that do not display the “download” button:
-Does it matter if a download is a paid item that I password-protected through Download Manager? Not selling through Woo Commerce, but want to use WordPress Download Manager where my visitors can access my downloads.
-Does the size of the download matter? I’m thinking that it should not matter because it shows that my maximum file size is “no limit”.
Thanks in advance for your response.So I have given up support… After so many days I have to get downloads working again.. I have rolled back my site to Jan 10.
At this point my site is working 100%. All themes and plugins are up to date except Download Manager which is running with version 6.2.8. So there definitely appears to be a major bug going on in 6.2.9…

We have been having a problem with the WPDM pro for about 2 months now.

They enter their details and all it now shows is a spinning download animation. but it does not go any further.Tried
We have done all the cleared cache suggestions (in Browser, WordPress and Hosting a/c), also we have also downloaded the latest WPDM pro plugin and tried to disable other plugins to test but still no luck.It was all working fine for 1-2 years, but the client noticed back in Nov-Dec 2022 that this issue arose.
Any ideas for solutions?
Else this plug-in is now useless to us.

I’m looking for a shortcode (for the link template or page template) to get the FIRST PAGE of a PDF rendered instead of a preview of the whole document [doc_preview] (which is not good for performance if you have a lot of downloads on one single page)
I don’t want to generate manually the FIRST PAGE of the document as image to use it as “featured Image”neither do I want to use Icons.Any Solution?
