Hi Shaon, It has been a month since my last request. I am checking in to see how you are doing on the Download Manager Pro v4.1.4 upgrade and if you could provide a date when this might be available. I appreciate that you are busy – but I also am being held accountable to get this multisite development completed. Please provide. Thank you!

Understood. But until the multisite blog.dir fix is included, the upgrade and the product is unusable for our purpose. We can’t have duplicate IDs messing up which file is getting downloaded. Sorry to press you, but when would you say the next version with this fix would be ready? I do appreciate all you’ve provided thus far.

Hi Shaon, I see that there is an update from 4.1.0 to 4.1.2. It didn’t appear that this included the Multisite seperate blog.dir updoad directories was included. I also didn’t see a way to upgrade in the WP backend plugin dashboard – just the notice. What is the proper method to upgrade your plugin? Thanks for your assistance.

I’ve compressed the file as much as possible and not able to upload here. Please DOC download or PDF (fuzzy) instead.

Hi Shaon,
I’ve documented the issue completely in the attached file. I really want to use WP Download Manager for multi-site install.

Thanks for answering my questions. One more please… same topic.

Because I am using a multisite set up – the file ID is duplicated as you’ve indicated when uploading files from different subsites.

Example: Upload a file on parent site, then another file on subsite. Each site is assigning a file ID. Trouble is, they are pointing to the same files (as pictured at the top of this post re: attached images). What is your advice to getting around this issue? Thanks for your help.

Hi
I understand what you are saying regarding wp creating the same id. Not really sure what you mean about how the FILE BROWSER ROOT is used. If you could explain that a bit more please.

Also, since I am using the multisite install (and activating each subsite seperately) should I be using the same key for each site? I believe that is correct.
Thanks,
j

Ah! This page would be helpful to place on the “Thanks for your order at WpDownload Manager.com” email to give you less work!
DOCUMENTATION: http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/docs/installing-wordpress-download-manager-pro/
Also, I created an account prior to making the purchase. Thus I had two accounts and ignored the link provided in the email. Maybe the word MUST USE THIS ACCOUNT needs to be added to your email as well.

Thanks for your response earlier. I hope this post helps others too!

That worked nicely. Now where do I locate the license number?
