Hi Nayeem. Thank you. I did switch to the “Save in file” option and pressed Save. I emptied cache and still no custom templates appearing in the Downloads > Settings > Basic > frontend access > Select link template dropdown. Hopefully they’ll appear after the update you provide.
Not able to make the first tab to be automatically styled as an active tab anymore.
I’ve added this additional CSS but I still want the first tab to appear with the gold tab border upon page load because it is the active tab.
.w3eden .nav-tabs a {
text-decoration: none;
background-color:#ffffff;
border: 1px solid #dcd6ce;
border-bottom: none;
border-radius: 1px 1px 0 0;
padding: 2px 5px 0 5px;
}
So far, you’re exactly right, Shaon. I’ve only copied a few files to test. I’ll report back when I have full confidence in the solution you provided. Thank you for getting back to me.
I received another phone call today from someone who was unable to do a “Download All” for one of the files under Interactive Faith Bible studies. So I decided to experiment. It appears that the “download all” function fails after the package and documents reach a certain age. For example on https://cad.welsrc.net/downloads-cad/interactive-faith/, the first package created in August 2018 will work with the download all. Any others after that will not.
At this link, https://worship.welsrc.net/downloads-worship/worship-the-lord/, once again, the first will download, but the others will not.
Here’s where it gets interesting – the fourth link down “Practical Ideas for Lutheran Worship.” It was created in 2015, and when you do a download all, there are no documents in the zip file except the one that was updated this past July. Anything before that is treated like it no longer exists in the “Download All.” But there are 13 working files when you go into the package.
I find it hard to believe this is a problem of corrupt files and needing to recreate the packages. If I had a corrupt file, it would seem that I wouldn’t be able to open it individually either. It seems more like a matter of files aging out of the package download option.
Hi Shaon,
Status please, and thank you.

SUMMARY OF OUTSTANDING ISSUE
1- So new .zip file downloads work – like 300MB just fine after WP Engine fixed the WPDM cache Apache issue. (WP Engine chat script above)
2- BUT these download .ZIP files error out for Windows users still. They can download but when extracting they get the same error: https://welscongregationalservices.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/image004.jpg
https://cad.welsrc.net/download-cad/my-son-my-savior/
https://cad.welsrc.net/download-cad/come-follow-me-bible-study/
However, Mac users get the files but they are deep in numerous folders /nas/content/live/wrc/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/AND THEN ALL THE FILES
3- Individual file passwords do not work. https://foundation.welsrc.net/download-foundation/planned-giving-today-2016/
– It doesn’t show the lock icon for each download.
– It allows public to download the file even though the password is set.
– I tried this solution: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/password-lock-not-working-with-some-browsers/ BUT it didn’t work.
Hi Shaon,
Ok, we’ll try removing any audio or video URL files from the download all type packages and instead present them separately. I’ll keep this open and report back soon.

FYI – I did change the setting as you suggested and also disallowed parallel downloads and enabled cache of zip. No change.
Hi Shaon,
I’d say yes, but this is a multi-site installation. Its a real pain to do this with 20 sub sites. Since I’ve already applied the individual files patch, could I just get the code change instead for the image Thumnail function? That way I don’t have to go through all of these steps for each subsite:
SUBSITE upgrade steps
1 – For each subsite, deactivate the plugin AND all WPDM Addons
2 – On site network delete the plugin, add the new plugin file.
3 – For each subsite, activate the plugin AND all WPDM Addons
4- For each subsite reenter login credentials for WPDM
5 – For each subsite empty cache.
6 – For each subsite save settings
I won’t put you through this. 🙂
Template used on both sites widgets (Everywhere > New Downloads widget) WELS – Default Link Template
Looking good now. I’ve asked all the sub site owners to test. Leaving this open until Monday. Thanks as always for your kindness and brain power!
You do now – I just added you. I will give you access to all 20 sub sites shortly.
