if you use category parameter, on initial load, it only will fetch the packages from the mentioned categories, if you want to include packages from sub-categories too, you must use include_children=1.
So your shortcode will be like this: [wpdm_archive_filter items_per_page="10" include_children=1 cols=1]

I think so.
You can test other caching plugins. You can exclude the pages of wpdm-archive from caching if you find that the issue persists again with caching plugin.

I’m not sure why all templates do not appear when creating a package. I find it strange. However I see in wpdm templates lists, all templates available by default. Apparently, cloning the template are allowing you to use that when creating packages. You can also use templates with shortcodes by using the template id in the shortcode. In other words, I do not think this issue is a big deal since it does not restrict you from doing anything.

The shortcode is working fine in our test environment.

I found some issue with wpdm archive on your website. Current version of WPDM-archive is 4.3.2 but I found that showed 5.3.1 . Something was wrong there.
However I have deleted that. I would suggest you to again install and activate the current updated version

Yes the issue is fixed. I think you have very old templates of wpdm.
After the version 6 update, the codebase has changed. But as you created the packages many years ago, your packages are using old templates structure. That could be the reason.

I have found the issue.

The issue is appearing by enabling the password lock option of wpdm package.

If you disable password lock for packages, it is totally ok

I found that your website is using old version of php. That could cause the issue. Please update php version of your server to at least 7.3
I hope it will solve the issue.
