please try to adjust the parameter with order_by or orderby, it should work any of them. BTW, glad to hear this your problem has been resolved

For your first issue, for multiple locks and step verification, you need code customization, you can’t enable multiple locks at the same time. I hope this will resolve other problems too. please let me know

For Email lock form you can edit this file, plugins\download-manager\tpls\lock-options\email-lock-form.php, and for make back up for the next up-gradation you may follow this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/

and for making restricted the number of times for a package you may check this add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/download-limit/
