@Shahjada, would you mind looking into this other ticket for me (https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/wpdm-amazon-s3-update-date-option-how-to-change-date-format-on-frontend/)? Nayeem Riddhi doesn’t understand the issue as I’ve explained it. The credentials are still the same and active which were provided at the beginning of this older ticket. Thank you very much.

No, the issue is not resolved. As I explained in my previous post, I already had the date in WordPress set the way it should display on the frontend. This was set years ago, long before I created this ticket. The display of the date in Download Manager (for the Update Date option) isn’t respecting the date format that is set in WordPress.

I already have the date set in WordPress the way that I want it (https://snipboard.io/YSZg56.jpg) so this isn’t why Download Manager is displaying the date as yyyy/mm/dd. I had said that the Update Date option on the Edit Package screen was a WPDM Amazon S3 option but it is actually a feature of Download Manager Pro itself.

Thank you. The double entry issue is fixed.

I also noticed that the newest available version of Download Manager is actually 5.3.2 when installed but https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/download-manager-pro-v5/ and the current file download name still shows the current version as 5.3.1. Could you please update the version on the filename and the page so that the most recent versions are listed correctly? Thanks.

Please reply with an update on when the next version (2.9.2) of WPDM Amazon S3 will be released to fix the double-entry issue. I was expecting the update on November 21 as you had said but there hasn’t been an update yet.

Also, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-amazon-s3-storage-plugin/ still shows the latest version as 2.9.0 even though 2.9.1 is actually the current version that is available.

Thank you.

When should I expect the released fix for the double-entry issue? I am still only seeing WPDM Amazon S3 version 2.9.1 as the one that is available for download. Thank you.

Please reply promptly. The developers really need to improve their quality control before releasing updates as we have been having issues with every new release which always ends up being a bug in the software. Thank you.

Here is a console error that I see which appears to be related to the issue. This error is not there when running Download Manager 5.3.0. I’ve seen someone else reporting the same problem recently. The issue didn’t start until I updated Download Manager to version 5.3.2. I’m guessing that there is an update needed for WPDM Amazon S3 to fix compatibility. snipboard.io/QZibsG.jpg

NEW PROBLEM: I just updated to Download Manager 5.3.2 and Amazon S3 2.9.1 and now I can no longer access any Amazon S3 buckets within Download Manager at all. My staging site credentials are still the same. Please log in and investigate as soon as possible. I cannot update my live site until this issue is fixed. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. Will this fix be included in the next update so that I can have this fixed on my live site?

Clicking the Attach option does work but clicking on a filename to attach a file no longer works as it did before. @Shahjada told me that the filename links will be removed in the next version which will prevent further confusion. Thanks.

The original issue has been corrected. Thank you very much.

There is a new issue that has appeared in the latest version of WPDM Amazon S3 (version 2.9.0) and Download Manager 5.2.6. When I try to add existing files from Amazon S3 to a package, a new browser tab opens and the Amazon S3 Manager reloads again. It is now not possible to add existing Amazon S3 files to any packages due to the Manager repeatedly reloading in a new browser tab. I get the same behavior on both my staging and live sites. Please investigate and fix this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Thank you. I’ll test it out when I return to the office. Will this fix be included in the latest version of WPDM Amazon S3 for everyone? I’ll need to update my live site too.

I see that someone logged into my staging site last about 10 hours ago. My Amazon S3 keys were removed and not put back in the Cloud Storage settings. You will need to test with my Amazon keys according to the steps explained in my last video to see the issue happen when adding additional files inside of the WHMEDIACENTRAL2 bucket.

When you first access the bucket within your Amazon S3 Manager, you will see both the AUDIO FILES folder and the VIDEO FILES folder. If you upload another file inside of the WHMEDIACENTRAL2 bucket you will see the VIDEO FILES folder stop displaying along with any other folder you may try to create after doing this. Removing the most recently uploaded files will make the additional folder appear again. Note that the issue only happens after a certain unknown number of files has been added inside of the WHMEDIACENTRAL2 bucket. When I created that bucket for testing purposes, the issue did not occur for some time as I was adding files inside of the AUDIO FILES folder in the bucket. After a specific point, adding any more files made the issue appear. Right at this moment, the files in the AUDIO FILES folder are one less file than what it takes to cause the issue. Adding just one more file (or more) will make the issue appear. Removing the latest added files will make the issue temporarily go away again.

YES, this happens consistently with buckets with other names as I demonstrated in my OTHER ticket). My credentials are STILL WORKING.

I do not appreciate the runaround that I am getting from you. I keep having to explain the same thing over and over yet you don’t seem to understand or you are intentionally trying not to help me. You keep responding in this ticket when I asked you to respond in the OTHER TICKET. I have spent many hours on this and you keep running me in circles. I have proven that IT ISN’T A PERMISSIONS ISSUE in the last video I provided in my OTHER TICKET! No one from the Download Manager support team has even logged into MY site since October 9th (I just tried the credentials and they still work as before). IF you would watch the last video in my other ticket, you would understand the issue and the fact that it is related to the number of files that your software can handle from Amazon S3 and not a permissions issue at all.

The reason it is working “on your end” is because you have not replicated the number of files that I have in my AUDIO FILES folder. As my last video shows, as long as I don’t add too many files in folders in the WHMEDIACENTRAL2 bucket (or any other bucket), the other folders in the bucket appear as they should. If I add too many files in any folder in that bucket or any other bucket, then it prevents the rest of the folders from displaying and being accessible through WPDM Amazon S3. My video clearly shows this. I have also said many times that the older versions of Download Manager and WPDM Amazon S3 don’t have this issue at all. If this was a permissions issue, this issue would exist in the older versions of your software.

You said that you would pass my ticket on to someone else but you have not. I DEMAND THAT YOU ESCALATE MY OTHER TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE HIGHER UP IN YOUR SUPPORT TEAM.

My credentials are STILL ACTIVE (in the other ticket). I have never deactivated my site credentials. They will remain active until the issue is resolved so you can log in at any time to troubleshoot. Moving forward, please respond in the other ticket instead of this one.
