I have just updated to version 2.5.1 but there are still problems. Now the S3 buckets no longer open in the Amazon S3 File Source box. The spinner just keeps spinning instead.

Also, in your Amazon S3 Manager section in the backend, I have found that if a sub-directory name has spaces in them, the manager will not open the directories. Directories without spaces in them seem to open fine. I expect that this issue will also affect the Amazon S3 File Source box in the WP editor once you fix the issue of the buckets not opening.

Please help us to resolve these issues as soon as possible. Thank you.

Can we please get an update on this issue? I see that others are reporting the same problem but we are getting no response from support. Thank you.

Could you please address my last reply regarding the new issue of apostrophes in filenames? Thank you.

Thank you very much. I do have one more issue I am seeing related to the Amazon S3 Add-on. For some reason, as of today, when I try to add new files that have an apostrophe in the filename (like jack’s new car.wav for example), the apostrophe and all the text in the filename (including the filename extension) after the apostrophe are missing which results in a broken link.

A temporary solution is to rename the file in the Amazon S3 bucket so that it doesn’t have an apostrophe in the filename and then add that file again to the bucket but this is a hassle. This wasn’t a problem for me until today. Any files with apostrophes in pre-existing packages are still there and those links are complete and work fine. The problem only happens when adding new files to a package that contain apostrophes in the filenames. This seems to be a bug in the latest Amazon S3 Add-on I’m running and I wonder if it has to do with the fix you implemented in my install.

Thanks for your help.

I see that you had logged into my WP dashboard about 9 hours ago to check the issue. It appears that I can now add additional Amazon S3 files to packages with 16 or more files in it. Can you please provide an update as to what you did to fix this? Thank you very much.

Update: I’ve found that the issue only occurs with packages that have many Amazon S3 files in them where the more condensed version of the file list is displayed in the Admin (the version that is slimmer which doesn’t display the icons on the left). See the attached screenshot for an example of an Amazon S3 package that I can’t add any new files to.

If the number of Amazon S3 files is short, then the bigger version of the list is displayed (with the icons). I can add new files to an existing package that displays this version of the list, just not the slimmer version mention above.

I have many more files to add to existing packages that have many files in them. Please help me to resolve this as soon as possible. Thank you.

I haven’t seen an update for the Amazon S3 add-on plugin since your last reply. The problem still exists. Do you have any update on when this will be fixed? Thank you.

Thanks. I’m hoping the ability to sync with Amazon S3 directories is added in the future. It is taking me a long time to add each file manually.
