you can change code for [file_list] from functions.php , but it will be little hard to add icon for each file

only 2 levels are possible with directly add-ons, but next update we are adding support for more.

Got your login info and tested. You need to enable “zlib” in your server. Then everything will work fine

“WPDM – Custom Fields” don’t have auto update actually. But I’m not sure how you saw it. Anyhow please delete the add-on from ftp and and install again

sorry, the add-on still not released, but sitemap is available with core plugin now ( http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/wpdmpro-sitemap.xml )

1- global search widget and short-code will be available with wpdm archive page add-on within next 48 hours.
2- add-on installation is simply like other regular plugin installation , need to install and activate like other regular plugins. tinymce add-on will add a button with your post editor , which will help you to generate short-codes ( https://www.diigo.com/item/image/2uqj/u3nw ).

1) not actually, though you enable immediate download, it will sent an email, but you can remove it from code at functions.php
2) actually image button add-on not required anymore and you can use image url directly with short [download_link] now, like [download_link image-url-here]

new templates will not be changed, but any previous change of code in core file may be erased after update.

if you apply email lock for a download, then visitor have to enter their email ( and name ) before they download , you will able to export email from admin section. but for notification email there will require some modification in code
