if you are using wpdm pro 4.0.0, then newsletter add-on still may not work well, but after final release of wpdm pro 4, we will update the add-on to wpdm 4 compatibility, then you also will have the option to add subscriber manually.

deleting package will not delete file, as same file could be attached with multiple package. it check if file with same name already exists in /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/, if exists then rename it. but if same file already exists you don’t have to upload it again, you can browser server files and attach with package.

I see, actually some styles has been changed in latest update, as now its using bootstrap 3. anyhow if you change the link template button then the page will look better.

actually all categories and lock options should be migrated properly too except some exception, like somehow if the migration is failed for any reason 1st time, then in 2nd try category creation could be missed, in that case need to create and assign categories manually. and lock options should work perfectly. not seeing any reason to miss lock options.

@DearestDebi, 4.0.0 doc still not availble, but coming within this month. And the issue is actually with your hosting. we are already using the premium package add-on here at wpdownloadmanager.com , the add-on don’t make any extra load, but still you can use cache plugin to reduce any load.

@sassaf, category should be copied properly, but there was no tag in 3.3.8
