actually if you make the download available for subscriber only, then user will need to signup once.
it’s a minor issue with current version anyhow, we have fixed it for next update, anyhow having the issue, please download this file: http://cdn.wpdownloadmanager.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/functions1.zip unzip upload functions.php in download-manager dir.
– bulk import only import files from opened dir, it doesn’t check subdirs.

yes, no other way, but you can apply other locks which will give more options to download.

#3. plugin actually will show such a message when user is not logged in and you can configure the message from wpdm settings page “Login Required Message” section.

if you want to use facebook lock, individual download will not work. Individual download will work for public download and only password protected downloads.

it could be server specific, somehow your server is not detecting the zip file properly when it is downloaded using code.
problem was the unix & windows path conflict. anyhow double slash will not be a problem
